Hotpot is an incredibly interactive, customizable, and social meal, giving you the full experience. It is usually served family-style where the bubbling broth is shared and where everyone adds their meats/veggies to the same pot. In the end, the broth will be extremely tasty because it got all its flavor from your ingredients, making this meal a treat from start to finish. Due to it’s family-style nature, hotpot is usually enjoyed with many people where an array of ingredients are ready to add in. Hotpot is a social experience from start to finish, which is always fun for your family and friends! Not only will you walk away with a full tummy, but you will also have new memories to cherish! Although most families like to enjoy hotpot at home, come visit Alwayz Hot for an unlimited All You Can Eat experience! Allow us to elevate your meal!
Hotpot is my personal favorite meal, and my family loves enjoying it at our gatherings. It’s fun and yummy the entire time and easy to prepare as well! It definitely is more exciting than your traditional style of eating where everyone eats only from their own bowl. Sharing a pot makes it all the merrier! Plus, it keeps the conversation going which is always a plus in a social setting. I’ve attached a little clip of lamb hotpot during our family Christmas party. Hotpot is a meal that goes beyond just eating, you also walk away with good memories. I believe it’s a meal designed to bring people together!

With hotpot, you can choose what type of meal you are about to receive. This highly customizable option ensures that you enjoy your experience every time! This sets us apart from your traditional restaurant where you order one meal off the menu and that’s what you would get. At Alwayz Hot, you eat how you choose.. on an unlimited scale. Menu options are actually “toppings” you can add to your hotpot broth. Having the freedom to build your own meal allows us to cater to almost anyone ranging from first-timers to those who are experienced in this cuisine. Don’t worry, even the pickiest eaters will find something to enjoy on our big menu. Have a dietary restriction? You have the power to pick what you eat and know exactly what’s going into your body. On a diet? Skip the carbs! With our variety of broths, meats, veggies, etc., your meal could be whatever you want it to be! Some of my personal favorite items on the menu include lamb, beef, pork belly, enoki mushrooms, bamboo shoots, luncheon pork, fish ball with roe, taro, glass noodles, and so much more! Give Alwayz Hot a try for a one stop spot for dinner than can cater to all in your party!

Hotpot’s background and tutorial!
Hotpot is a traditional Chinese meal, and other cultures have different variations of it as well such as Shabu Shabu, a Japanese style hotpot. It’s well-known in many Asian countries due it being highly customizable and enjoyable every time. It is really hard to mess up, making it great for beginners, yet exciting for those who are used to it due to tips and tricks learned throughout the experience. It is also affordable, making it widely accessible.
Hotpot is simply a broth of your choice brought to a boil or simmer, just enough to cook your meats and veggies. And here is the fun part - you can choose whatever you want to add to it. This can be lamb, bamboo shoot, hotdogs, spam, noodles, taro, etc. Honestly, whatever you want! Your broth at the end of it will be the cherry on top of your entire meal because it has a bunch of different flavors from your toppings, making it a fun meal from start to finish! Additionally, hotpot is usually served family-style where the broth is shared amongst a group of people. Individual pots are also provided if you are not willing to share.. which is understandable haha!!
Here are a few fun videos of people experiencing hotpot for the first time!

Get to Know Me
Hello all, my name is Janet Tang and I was both born and raised in Seattle. I am currently majoring in Integrated Strategic Communications and have always wanted to open my own business. I am also minoring in Human Development and really connect with it. It is my dream to teach sign language to kids one day or just work with kids in general! I am Vietnamese-Chinese American and hope to combine skills from both my major and my minor to open an All You Can Eat hotpot location called Alwayz Hot.. wait for it.. also open 24 hours. And even better, I hope to have it near the airport to also cater to guests visiting our city!
I previously worked at Starbucks as a barista in the busiest location in our region. I am skilled at extreme multi-tasking in a fast paced environment and am accustomed to working at all hours. I am also open to new experiences whenever possible and hope to make this mock company for my class a reality some day. During my free time, I enjoy volunteering or simply spending quality time with my friends and family. If you haven’t already guessed, human interaction and food both hold a dear place in my heart. I hope to drive my future business with this type of passion.
Alwayz Hot will serve hotpot catering to everyone who is interested in joining us - from all ages and all walks of life, at any time of day. Our wide menu selection aims to meet everyone’s needs regardless of experience level with hotpot, dietary restriction, age, or party size. Given that hotpot is primarily served in a family style manner, friends and family are welcome to joining in on the experience! This social environment is perfect for those looking for a fun, interactive dinner all while enjoying a traditional Chinese meal.
