I wanted to address this issue because of the drama that’s happening so I’m going to try and clear this up.

Most of you know about the Q&A with Cartoon Universe, it was a fun stream until Anna Akana had said something disturbing. How she worded it looked like she supports pedophilia and zoophilia which is wrong. These ships aren’t something that should be tolerated but Anna didn’t mean to phrase it that way. When she said she likes the Sasha and Grime ship, she doesn’t actually see them as a couple. She meant she sees them as a father and daughter relationship. People shouldn’t just apply the word ship to romance, it’s also platonic. She meant she sees them platonically.

Even tho these ships are messed up, that doesn’t mean the fan base is off the hook. As I said previously, Anna just worded it wrong. She corrected what she said and apologized for her poor choice of words. She’s already clarified she doesn’t condone these ships but people kept attacking her and sending her death threats which is ridiculous. Yes these ships are morally wrong but there’s no reason to harass her over an honest mistake. Anna just went about it the wrong way but sending death threats, harassing her etc is too far. She can’t take back what she said but she can recognize her mistakes and own up to them. She just needs to be more careful with her choice of words so they don’t give the wrong idea.

People shouldn’t jump to conclusions because this could get worse than they already are. I really hope Anna is doing alright because Twitter is just so toxic. I hope this post could help clear the air and settle down the drama that was happening.

Do people not remember how True Colours got delayed less than a day before its premiere? How it got leaked? How it was delayed with no release date in sight? How Matt from what I recall hearing had to fight to keep it without any scenes taken out?

No, Marcy getting stabbed doesn’t fit the “Disney Brand”, and Amphibia has constantly suffered from bad promotion, delays, leaks, all kinds from Disney.

Stop pitting these shows against each other and going ‘why does Amphibia get it when TOH doesn’t’ - Both shows have been treated like trash. Does nobody remember??? It’s Disney who we should be hating for this.
