What happened?

I would love to know what happen and when did people just stop giving two shits on raising their kids with morals, self respect, respect for adults, encouragement to finish school and want to be somebody.. Everywhere I turn there are kids no older than 12 years of age that the parents just let the child disrespect them and any body they come in contact with. Parents who sit there and think it's funny and encourages their child to curse really nasty words that a child that age shouldn't even be saying. Parents that blame the school teachers on why their child acts the way they do at school. Parents that pull their child out of school to homeschool and don't give a shit if the kid didn't even learn and just do all the school work for them. W.T.F do you want you child to only have an elementary school grade level for the rest of his life. How can you not want to teach your daughter to have respect for herself? Maybe it's just the way my mind thinks, or does anyone else out there sees these things as well and have the same feelings and thoughts about stuff like that?
