he's just woken up and like any other man he reaches for his weapon the moment he stirs. except hands feel nothing but damp grass and kest's face. he jolts up, suddenly wide awake as he begins to frantically look around him for his bow.
finding it nowhere he begins to become angry, which is rare for the archer. he stands, cursing up a storm and not caring who he wakes in the process. he looks under blankets, in sacks and bags, in places far too small for his bow, and only once the rest of his friends are awake and grumpy does he realize who has it. he storms over to that fucking wagon of ysabel's, yanks open the door, and glares at the woman sitting prettily just inside.
