Obedience VS Subspace

There is a difference between being obedient, and being in subspace, though the two can coincide, they are distinctly different.

It is no secret that when a submissive male is horny, his need to be obedient grows in lockstep with how desperate he is.

He can become horny enough to agree to anything. To submit in any way she wishes.

So naturally he's best kept frustrated, because that's when he's the most beneficial to her.

However, just obeying, is not subspace. Subspace is an altered state of consciousness. It is something that occurs when he surrenders his own power over to her.

So it's not just obedience to her, it's a surrendering of his energy for her use. When this energy is surrendered, he enters subspace, it is like a meditative state.

All of his thoughts will clear from his mind, and he will feel his own energy be replaced by her dominance. He feels her power. It humbles him completely.

There are no other thoughts left to intrude, no stress, no worries, no doubts or fears. In fact even his pain tolerance goes up, because he's surrendered in that moment.

Subspace is like the great escape. It's the one place he can go, where he feels safe. Where he feels secure. Where he is free from concern.

The power exchange within subspace is amplified when she understands that he's in it. It's a palpable feeling for both, and as she feels his surrender, it can bring her into dommespace.

Where her dominance becomes her state of being, like submission becomes his. It's pure power exchange, and as a result of it, it's also pure bliss.

Pure expression, pure fulfillment. It's raw vulnerability, but also intimacy. It's a level of being naked beyond physicality. It's mental and spiritual.

When he comes out of subspace, he's still going to be frustrated, and obedient.

But nothing compares to subspace. It's a feeling that can be best described as home. Like somewhere he never wants to leave. Yet he's only allowed, or able to go there when she takes him there.

He can also learn a lot in subspace, about himself, and about her, because the intuitive receptiveness of that state of being, is enlightening.

While he cannot live his life in subspace, he can take the experience of it, and apply it in stress reducing ways for all problems in his life. Which also enables him to serve her better, and anticipate her needs better.

It creates a stronger bond with her. It turns into a feeling of being owned.

It also creates fierce loyalty. So fierce that she has no doubts, concerns, or worries, that he won't support her as much as he possibly can.

Which also means, he becomes her most trusted companion. More so than any of her friends or family. Complete and total open communication, and more importantly, carefree.

That's the glorious freedom found in a FLR.

Submissive men are drawn to obedience in the first place because they've had a taste of subspace.

Sometimes they get a glimpse of it through femdom porn. They can get sucked into that altered state for a moment or two. But then without anyone to actually accept his surrender, he snaps back to reality, and can't stay there.

Instead they get stuck on the level of obedience without subspace. Chasing. The constant chase, of always wanting, and thinking the more they obey the better they'll feel. But obedience is not subspace. Surrender is.

His surrender must be accepted by her, that's the only way he can get in subspace, and stay in subspace for a little while. And to revisit it as often as she'll allow.
