I had an idea for a fic so:
Ford keeps finding Stan along this specific stretch of the road.
At first he gives him a ride (mostly because he was surprised stan was there) they have an argument, stan gets out and storms off.
Ford thinks he's seen the last of him, but next time he passes the same spot where he first saw him, sure enough. Stan is there again.
He is always there. Even if ford ignores him and drives on by, he's there again. Waiting. and no matter how many times Ford tries to give him a ride, Stan always ends up in the same place.
