What Should We Consider for a Super PPC Audit

You may have a different audit strategy that you use each time, but let's create a thumb rule for our audits for Amazon product listing services.
Categorize Your Keywords/ASIN into 4 types:
High Converting, Low Cost of Sale
High Converting, High Cost of Sale
Low Converting, Low Cost of Sale
Low Converting, High Cost of Sale
1) High Conversion & Low ACOS mean, these keywords/asins bring the maximum no of orders with good ACOS. So, they have the maximum PPC order share! If we somehow control/isolate those then we can control the major chunk of our PPC sales.
2) High Conversion & High ACOS mean, their spending needs to be controlled (bid/placement optimization) because they are high converting but the issue is the profitability! So, we don't compromise on these keywords rather we slowly optimize these keywords.
3) Low Conversion & Low ACOS mean, these keywords/asins bring very few orders but they are profitable that help us improve the overall ACOS of the PPC! So, what we can do is we should target them in groups that would help us get profitable orders, and once we find a keyword that improves its performance we can shift it to the 1st category.
4) Low Conversion & High ACOS mean, these are the main bleeders that are increasing our ACOS and not giving any good no. of orders. So, we need to make decisions on these keywords/asins thoroughly before making them negative! If the CTR is good enough? Is any particular placement bleeding or every placement is bleeding? Is this keyword/asin working well with other match types/campaign types? If this keyword/asin is relevant enough? Whether you can afford this CPC or Not? Ask several questions before making any kw/asin negative.
If you do your audit around this broad strategy, you can control the ACOS & the profitability with the passage of time.

AMAZON LISTING OPTIMIZATION:

Amazon listing services or optimization is the process of improving the visibility and sales of an Amazon product page by making it buyer-friendly (descriptive and appealing content) as well as amazon friendly (embed high SV relevant Keywords).
Amazon Title:
As a general rule, keep your message between 140 and 180 characters long. However, some product categories allow for longer titles, so make sure to read the category's requirements carefully.
Each word's first letter should be capitalized.
Don't use ALL CAPS in your writing.
Conjunctions (and, or, for) and articles (the, a, an) should not be capitalized.
Prepositions with fewer than five letters should not be capitalized (in, on, over, with).
Make use of numerals (2 instead of two)
Spell out measurements ( 6 inches not 6" )
Symbols like! * $? Should be avoided.
Type 1 High ASCII characters (, ô, etc.) should not be used.
THE TITLE CAN'T BE MORE THAN 200 CHARACTERS LONG.
Bullet Points:
These should be the same as your product's "features and benefits." Content is the first bullet feature (For example, material)
BulletFeature2: Benefits and features
BulletFeature3: Features and benefits
BulletFeature4: Features and benefits
BulletFeature5: Warranty/Care/Special Care
EACH BULLET POINT CHARACTER IS LIMITED TO 500 CHARACTERS.
Description of Product:
Experiment with several long-tail keyword variations.
The description should be HTML and the character limit is 2000 characters.
Images:
Make the background completely white.
Show the full product, but only what is listed in the product listing, such as accessories that aren't included. At least 80% of the image should be covered by the product.
Make sure the image is at least 1,000 dpi. This maintains a good resolution when the customer zooms in.
Amazon allows 7 images to display
wherever feasible and uses professionally taken photos.
If you are taking the photo yourself, make sure it is well-lit and in focus.
