Is favor coming out soon? I see you've been posting a lot about it, so I got a bit curious :)

No, I still have a lot of work to do 😭 It's a big game, and I'm an overachiever.

I'm just really excited for it now that I have the main draft done 🥰💕! Eventho I still have a good amount of work I feel like it's coming together 💖

Are you going to make a tut for the routes and the album?

This is probably something I will have to do, there are (currently) 11 endings planned on total and a lot of small variations, so it will be somewhat hard to get an exact ending and probably even harder to try and get an exact specific interaction without a guide.

I have been debating if I want to release the game initially without a guide for the first two weeks or something so people can have fun playing around and discovering all the secrets of the game before the guide is available 💕

🗡Favor PSA Please Read!🗡

Sorry if this scared anyone- The game is still in development, dont worry!

As I have finished my first draft of the main story I have been doing a lot of thinking, and I just basically want to remind everyone that:

Favor is NOT meant to be a fantasy fulfillment romance game! Though there will be romance, Favor is a game that will have really heavy/ brutal moments and heavy themes in it.

I will include extensive content warnings for everything of course, but I really want to emphasize that Favor isn't a fantasy fulfillment feel good game so people don't walk into this thinking its a fun romance yandere dating vn - although this subversion was intended to be part of the point, I have decided it's better to be upfront about what Favor is, - or rather is not so people won't put a lot of excitement in this to only be disappointed.

(I know this next part sounds pretentious as hell, and im sorry for it 🥲) For Favor, you will need to employ media literacy and view it through a media critical lens rather than escapism.

I know a lot of people are bound to be disappointed, or possibly even genuinely dislike me because of Favor, but honestly Favor is turning out exactly how I wanted, my vision for it is not something I am going to change, It's a game that means a lot to me, and I'm super happy with how it's coming together.

I think the type of person this game is for will love it too 💕 I really look forward to the day it's done and like... the 3 people who end up liking it can yap with me about it because I've been in my head with it for farrrrr too long lol

Idk if I'm dumb or if it's the lack of sleep😭 but I was playing favor and noticed no matter how much I tried to pick a different combination of choices I still couldn't open the 3rd pic in the album so I was just wondering if there's a guide or anything like that so that I can unlock it 😓(btw love ur games SO much I played bsh and then realized the amount of Easter eggs in favor, just remember to always take rests and not rush, ur work is amazing stuff like that needs time and effort so just don't feel stressed or pressured and make sure to eat and drink 💕)

I think that's a bug 😶‍🌫️... I meant to take a look at it and push an update to fix it, but I kinda forgot about it once I got rolling on dev again. I'll try to fix it in the next update 🫡 it's probably some dumb mistake I made.

There is a lot of connecting points in Favor, I try to write with intention 🥰, so I hope you do enjoy it when it's finally out!

hiii, just wanted to say that absolutely love this game, i have replayed it like, 6 times already lol S2

i also have two things i wanted to ask if its ok!!

1- just out of curiosity, are you working on the game full time? sry if the question is invasive, you dont need to answer if you dont want to. im just curious bcs this all seems like so much work!!!! i couldnt fathom doing all that while also having to work/study/etc

2- if you dont mind me asking, who are those plushies? i recognized the binary star hero ones ofc (im in love w that game btw) but the the other 3

and btw, get well soon! by what ive seen you went trough a rough patch there recently, so i hope you are ok S2

1- I don't work on my games full-time! I have a full time job 🫡. Making games is my hobby. So basically I try and work on my games whenever I have free time which is usually after work 6pm -12am every night, (but lately I've been kinda slowed down by my hand being angry at me). Im sure it seems like a lot, but honestly, it's a nice way for me to get my creative energy out, and I just realllllly love game dev! Honestly I've been more stressed with my hand fucked up lately rather than anytime I was working on the game after my day job... I like, genuinely don't know what to do with myself if im not working on my games, I usually use like almost every second of my free time to do game dev so now im like??? Trying to figure out how I can work on game dev without my hands 🫠 . If anyone has any suggestions lol... 👀!

One little thing, don't take everything in the old tumblr asks and post (2023-early 2024) of mine to heart, some of them are old information that I probably scrapped in the main plot.

I either: 1.) Forgot about it and never took note of it. 2.) Seeing how it's not that important to the main plot and decided to change a few things and/or get rid of them.

But the most reason why I forgot about it is because it's not important.

You guys just have to wait for the entire game to be out to know which ones are canon.
