Winslow Homer, Salt Kettle, Bermuda, 1899, watercolour over graphite on paper, 35.4 × 53.3 cm, National Gallery of Art, Washington DC. Source
This was one of the first paintings by Winslow Homer I ever came across. The Salt Kettle Bay and guest house are named after both the Bermudan salt trade, and kettle-shape of the bay itself.
