bakusquad x diabetic s/o headcanons

hi! idek how tumblr posts work bye😳 anyways i've never seen anyone write abt a s/o with diabetes, so i'm just gonna do it myself ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ

he's probably very concerned at first, it takes some time for him to get used to it all

thinks it's manly to help you change your pump and/ or continuous glucose monitor (if you have one)

would let you hold his hand if you have to inject/test/change sites

"Y/N, you can hold my hand if you're scared"

if you have type 2 (which in most cases is cureable) he would love to plan exercise dates to motivate you to get healthier

he's very patient with you, if you need breaks during exercise he doesn't mind

kiri is down for anything- have a new sport you wanna try? he'll pick it up with you. new recipe you want to try? even if it's disgusting, he'll suffer through eating it

if you're low in the middle of the night he probably likes to stay up with you until you feel better, it gives him a sense of comfort knowing he won't let anything happen to you while he's sleeping

he'll let you eat whatever basically, he trusts you to make the right decisions because you know your body best

overall, he just wants you to be happy and healthy

he'll probably ask what everything does, he'd be curious especially about your glucose meter

honestly, this poor boy will probably NOT understand no matter how many times you explain it to him

he always carries one of your favorite snacks around incase you get low

i don't think he's as into working out as kiri or bakugou, but he would 100% play just dance with you as a form of exercise

and let me tell you, he is god awful

i think he would also like to go on walks or go swimming, it still gets you active but it's not as taxing on your body

he would probably get a little squeemish if you test/inject/change sites infront of him; he's not big on needles

likes to cuddle and watch tv/ play games with you if you're feeling high and want to stay home

i think he would be interested in learning more about the disease, he might do some research on what it actually is

likes to cuddle you after an extreme high or low, he realizes how tiring it can be

for exercise he would also likes walks, but maybe even some other activities like hiking or rock climbing?? ( i feel like he'd be a good rock climber with his quirk, imagine he just swings around with his tape)

he's also down to try new activites, he might even suggest a few of his own

if you test/inject/change sites infront of him, he would probably squirm a little and ask if it hurts

likes to find different snacks for you to try, maybe some organic or low carb options if your sugars tend to run high!

if you go out to a restraunt i feel like he would insist on trying your soda before you drink it to make sure it's actually diet

if you're having a bad day he would suprise you with some of your favorite snacks, but probably the tiny versions so you don't mess with your blood sugar too much

overall he's also really patient and understanding with you, he loves you so much and wants whats best for you :)

bakugou(ง •̀_•́)ง

at first he's really confused when you whip out a needle or just randomly poke your finger

probably stares in shock or just says "what the fuck are you doing?"

he's a quick learner, so he'll pick up on things you have to do even if you don't directly explain it to him

he would probably peer over your shoulder to make sure you're taking the right amount of insulin

"dumbass, that's too much" or "that's not enough, idiot"

he kinda panics when you have extreme lows, he thinks you're dying or something

we all know he's a good cook, so i think he would secretly make you meals that will help keep your sugars in check but would also taste amazing

if you have type 2, he would often have you train with him, whether it be sparring or his normal workout routine

if he has you doing a hard workout, he often asks if you feel okay or if you need a snack/break

he may push you too hard sometimes, but in all honesty he just wants you to get/feel better

Happy Nagamas, @amethystwildcat! I really enjoyed working on your prompt of a cheesy Hallmark Christmas movie starring Chrom and Robin, and, while I’m not great at writing cheesy Christmas movies, I hope you enjoy this movie poster for a fun hypothetical upcoming film, “Christmas in Ylisse”! 

(When Robin loses her memory mysteriously, she meets Prince Chrom, who shows her the true meaning of Christmas and also Santa is possibly there because why not)

Should all Acquaintance

She asked for absolutley anything with a list of characters. The only one out of that list I knew was Laslow/Inigo.

Corrin’s castle was in a flurry of activity. Banners were quickly appearing over the entrances to the different shops. Confetti mixed with snow fluttered onto the streets as the mages rehearsed their crafted spells one last time before the big event. 

“Selena, my fiery future bride to be, care to reminisce with me over a cup of tea?” Laslow asked holding out a rose for her. The redhead stared at him as if he had twin heads. “Look Laslow,” she hissed, “Answer me this, won’t you? When were we EVER engaged??”  

The dancer stammered “We aren’t, but perhaps we can still have a cup of tea as old friends?” he asked, waving his hands as if in surrender. “I promise, no flirting, just friendship. We’re both Shepards you know…” 

Selena shrugged,” Maybe later. I’m kinda busy right now.” She nodded towards the pink armored knight hauling tables towards the square. “Lady Camilla ordered me to give Effie a hand. By the way, don’t you have some new dance moves to fine tune? You know you and Azura are both performing tonight.” she smirked secretly enjoying the shocked expression he wore, leaving the flustered dancer to find a hidden place to train in.

“Damn, why does she vex me so?” he muttered passing by the bakery. The scent of Nohrian chocolate cakes and Hoshidan pastries wafted through the air. He breathed in the smell, relaxing a little bit. 

There was a certain grove of trees he liked to practice in. When he was there he could feel like he was back in the Ylissean Halidom. He imagined that each tree was one of the Shepherds. The feeling of being surrounded by friends and family relaxed him and helped him to focus. Yet even that wouldn’t offer any comfort on a night like this. No! He thought I forbid the memories from returning!  It was as if the gods refused his plea…

Joyful music played, people were enjoying each other’s company. Castle Ylisse was lit up as if Naga came down from the heavens to reside there with the Exalt Chrom and his family. The family he hoped he would join someday. Lucina, the once and future Exalt was beautiful. Inigo knew this and had from afar secretly fallen in love with her. Sure she wasn’t the only girl in their army that he had flirted with from time to time. His mother had wanted him to talk to girls to get over his inherited shyness. Everyone of the ladies had turned him down. 

It was the last night of the year and, if the rumors were true, the royal family had a special announcement to make…

Laslow shook his head, “no, I need to focus on my dance.” he whispered. Closing his eyes he stepped forward three times. Azura’s song playing in his mind to help him keep his timing. After the third step he did a handspring into a jumping spin.  

   During this final practice session, the back of his mind continued to play the unbidden memory….

“My fellow Ylisseans! Thank you for joining us on this New Years Eve night.” Chrom declared in a booming voice from where he stood on a balcony overlooking the courtyard one of Anna’s latest inventions a ‘Present Mic’ held just a few inches below his lips. “I hope you’re enjoying the festivities, but please know that the rumors you’ve been hearing are true. There is an announcement, but I’ll let my daughter say it.” 

Lucina stepped forward and took the mic from her father “My father is right, for tonight we celebrate not only the dawning of a new year we also celebrate the future and the newest addition to the Ylissean Royal Family.” She glanced back at one of the people standing in shadows. She nodded and held out her hands beckoning him to come to her. When they stood together Lucina turned to him “Gerome,” She said, “you and I have been best friends all of our lives. You’ve been my rock during both the good and the bad times… I love you and must ask one more thing. Will you marry me?” “Yes.” Gerome replied. 

Inigo’s eyes clouded over with tears as he fled from the scene, his heart shattered…

Laslow finished the dance and gazed up at the stars through the ring of trees. The memory wasn’t as painful as it once had been. Perhaps my time serving Lord Xander and spending time with Lady Corrin, milord’s younger sister, had dulled the pain of memory.  The two of them had formed a close friendship over the months they had spent together fighting the various foes the war created. 

It was time. Laslow ran through the streets to the stage. Quickly donning his dancer’s costume as he went backstage. “Ready?” Azura asked him as he stretched his muscles. “Yes.” he replied as they took their places. 

  She had never sang and he had never danced together so beautifully. His movements flowed with her lyrics.  

After their final curtain call he sought out lady Corrin herself. “Laslow, you two were amazing! Now I know why you’re so invigorating and quick on your feet in battle among other things.” 

“My princess” Laslow murmured as he blushed. “There’s something I have to tell you, but I can’t say it here.” She raised an eyebrow at that. “Ok, Laslow, meet me in my quarters, we can talk there.”

Corrin sat on her bed in her quarters waiting for Laslow to show up. When he did she asked

“Okay Laslow, what’s up? What’s so important that it had to be said in secret?”

“I finally found someone I completely trust, here’s a little secret for you. My real name is Inigo, shh, don’t tell anyone.”
