My (future caregiver) mommy is watching a boring grown up show on the tv and I'm sitting on the floor giggling n making noise as I'm playing with my toys near her. Although it can be heard with her show, she's not mad. She simply smiles and understands I'm an itsy bitsy kiddo and it's normal n okay for me to make noise in play

Me not understanding something/a concept and she takes the time to break it down for little me to understand. Very calmly and without insulting me or my ability.

Having big girl feelings when tiny and her helping me regulate them, even if they aren't expressed in good ways. Like throwing toys, harmful self stims, kicking. She understands kiddos can struggle with feelings and tells me that what I did wasn't a good way to express them, and helps me do healthier ones instead

My mommy being busy doing big girl work but I interrupt asking her for food cuz I hungy. Although her focus on the work is needed, she understands I'm tiny and can't cook safely/properly for myself and takes a break to make me lunch before resuming. She would never want me to be helpless and without food.

Her talking and interacting with me while tiny so I feel loved, cared for, and valued. That she'll know my stuffies names and know my little quirks/needs when tiny to keep me happy. She loves to hear all about my play and is happy to listen to my babbles or childishly illogical rants

Thinking about a regressor who hasn't really fully regressed before because they know how clingy and fussy they'll get and don't wanna burden whoever cares for them (it was already a big step to let someone care for them) until they start slipping a little too hard and too far for them to control so now they're not only clingy but upset because they didn't mean for this to happen so its extra bad but their CG is so gentle and so kind the whole time it really only makes them cry harder and they spend hours together, regressor bawling their eyes out and CG gently shushing them and holding them so tight and so close and waough

And after it all the regressor tries to avoid CG or immediately apologize but is cut off and told they don't need to apologize or better yet, "what are you sorry for?" and now they wanna cry again

Bonus points if the regressor had a childhood where they weren't allowed to express emotion especially negative emotion so this is really scary and new
