actually crazy the meta writing in this stupid minigame.
They're playing Dess' song. Even if she's the Knight or not, its still a song made by someone who believed in the Prophecy. Its a song to inspire whoever is following it
-Susie immediately starts making noise and ruining the song, to the point Tenna had to mute her
-Ralsei is changing the lyrics to Dess' song, and rewriting them to sound friendlier
-Kris is the only one doing it proper, but whether they suceed or not depends on the player

you really can reach a point with transgender enlightenment wherein you can attribute any bodily feature silhouette and detail to any gender regardless of typical cisgender aesthetic connotations. anything can be a man's body if the person in it is a man. anything can be a woman's body if the person in it is a woman. anything can be a genderless body if the person in it is genderless. and so on. the only thing that matters is the personhood within and whether you are willing to look and know and see it. open your eyes. keep trying until you no longer flinch or turn away in shame or anger or confusion.

wish i had that many engineers inside me
The physicist inside me wants to ignore complicated factors in order to complete the entire derivation. The mechanical engineer inside me wants to skip all the theoretical derivations and simulate it because it'll be closer to the actual real-life situation and therefore be more useful, even if I don't get to play around with fun math. The electrical engineer inside me is going back and forth ooofhdfhhhfhmgmgmgfhfhffhfhfhfhfhhffhfhfhhfhffgfhfhhhahaahahhnnngggggghhhhhhhhhhh

this reads a lot like the same argument techbros used to justify how much power cryptocurrencies use. saying “well look at how much energy the global banking industry uses”. like yea, the global banking industry uses a lot of power, but it’s also the global banking industry. VISA is far more important to human life as we know it than any crypto. so this argument that “well other things use that much power too” is utterly devoid of context.
the power usage of LLMs isn’t a condemnation in of itself, but combined with considerations of their power to utility efficiency being poor it absolutely is an argument to be taken seriously.
it's fascinating how many ai art discussions enter this weird loop where someone goes 'it uses too much energy!' and people rightly point out the amount of energy it uses is comparable with many other recreational uses of a computer nobody objects to on environmental grounds so then someone else says 'you can't compare it to playing videogames, it's bad because it's plagiarism!' so you go into an extended argument about fair use and how expanding copyright to cover the sort of things that happen in AI training would be pretty fucking terrible for anyone who cares about freedom to make derivative works, so then someone else says 'I don't care about the plagiarism, it's killing the planet!'...
