Manche hacken Kunst daraus: martialisch, roh, pathetisch wie die Arbeiten des Österreichers Wolfgang Flatz, bekannt für spektakuläre autoaggressive Aktionen. Für 500 Mark ließ er sich einst mit Dartpfeilen bewerfen, versuchte sich als Fußabtreter in der Münchner Kunstakademie oder klatschte als menschlicher Glockenschlägel zwischen zwei Stahlplatten – bis zur blutigen Bewusstlosigkeit. Sein krasseste Aktion aber war Fleisch: Er stieß eine Kuh aus dem Himmel, direkt über dem Prenzlauer Berg. Und lies sich selbst per Helikopter in luftiger Höhe wie ein Stück Fleisch, mit Blut übergossen, vom Himmel baumeln.
