17-19th Oct
17th Oct
It was a tough day! 3 simultaneous training in a row. 5 trainers delivered them! Had to be present in all of them. Started early in the morning at 9 am with one open house batch, then entered into another that of a petrochemical company at 10.30, then yet another that of a hospital at 11.30. Totally drained by the end of the day! But a meditation session with daughter was relaxing in the evening.
18th Oct
For the last one and a half month I have joined a Yoga Trainer Instructor course of S-Vyasa University. Started with that at 6 am, then at 8 am BB open house, then at 10.30 started the Petrochemical giant’s batch. With many meetings in between, it was a hectic day. Instructed daughter in meditative techniques.
19th Oct
6 am - Yoga Instructor course, then 10.30 - Petrochemical client and then many meetings interspersed. Going for dinner now after writing the blog.

1st and 2nd Feb
Happy February!
1st Feb
Got enrolled with Swami Sukhabodhanand’s 1 week course. I had attended his ‘Life’ program in 1995 in Mumbai. Good to see him on video once again. Went back to the old memories! Started watching the video in the morning after getting up at 5 AM
Father discharged from Sakra hospital today. Almost whole day was in hospital.  In the evening started a new PMP evening batch while Varsha took care of discharge process for Papa. Slept quite late at around 12.30 AM as had sipped some strong tea in the evening.
2nd Feb
Watched the Spiritual Warrior video of Swami Sukhabodhananda after getting up at 5 am in the morning. Then went to the Gym as I has engaged a gym personal trainer from today. Conducted some interviews for new recruits from Amruta college. After that went to play tennis with my neighbour. That was the first time I played singles tennis with anyone. Great experience, though it was too sunny at 10 AM to 11 AM. After lunch performed Yoga Nidra for an hour and then went to impart driving lessons to Animisha. She picked up on her first day on the plain ground were she practiced for an hour. In the evening continued the PMP evening batch. Now writing the diary at 10.45 pm. Ready to sleep with some rituals learned today in the online class.

27th Jan - 31st Jan (Hospital Trips)
27th Jan
Father’s fever increased and we got him admitted to Narayana Hospital. An RTPCR test for Covid was negative. Got an attendant for him to stay with him at the hospital. The X-Ray shows pneumonia. Narayana hospital suspects Covid based on the symptoms.
Had to start the Amlak Finance Yellow Belt training despite these difficulties. Varsha too care of father with support of our office staff Gobind and Muniraju.
Obviously, cancelled our Hampi trip.
28th Jan
As Narayana suspected Covid, they wished to shift father to a Covid hospital. Got him shifted to Sakra hospital. He got admitted to emergency . Rapid Covid test is negative. As a precaution I started taking the antibiotic Azythromycin.
Somehow completed the Amlak Finance Training.
29th Jan
Father got shifted to Cardiac Care Unit. Heart blockage suspected.
30th Jan
Angiography done for father and major blockage found in heart. Bypass recommended. However, we shall take a call once he recovers fully.
Had to start the pre-scheduled PMP training. I left it partially and went to meet father.
31st Jan
Went to meet father with Anukarsh and Animisha. he was very happy and appeared to recover. After leaving the hospital I gave few driving lessons to Animisha. It was her first day and we took few rounds within Mantri Espana as the ground which we had earlier earmarked for practising was occupied with some political rally.
Prepared the weekly schedule and now ready to start the week.

20th Jan, 2021
One disrupted sleep disturbs the whole pattern! So many times I have read about how important sleep is. It affects everything -your exercise, your thinking capacity, your performance, everything. Yesterday slept late around 23.30 as I was watching a PMI webinar. But woke up at 5 am. Tried hard to sleep again by lying down, but in vain.
Could not go to play tennis. However went to the gym and tried few chest exercises along with some core strengthening. I am thinking of engaging a gym instructor soon. Tomorrow will play tennis.
Completed 4th day of the 5 day Miral GB training. Excellent participants. After the training was busy with many calls related to work. Kerala fish curry in the dinner was too tasty to ignore and I hope it does not adversely reflect upon my weight tomorrow.
Let me finish writing my blog before I retire to bed.

15th -19th Jan, 2021
15th Jan - Studied the PMP new syllabus.
16th Jan- A long day indeed. A nice jog and exercise in the morning to prepare well for the Yellow Belt workshop which was conducted to perfection, as far as I think! Immediately after that started the PMP training for the first time with the new format. Few breaks of only 15 minutes throughout the day. Really tested my limits!
17th Jan - Started the training in Miral for second batch. During the lunch attended the Rotary Lakeside meeting for the first time. Hope I am not exposed to Corona due to this many persons were not following the social distancing norms.
18th Jan - Second day of Miral GB training and Q and A session for Yellow Belts in the evening.
19th Jan - Continued the Miral training. Now in the evening writing blog. After this many meetings are lined up now which includes one with PMI too.

13th Jan 2021, Wed
If one’s love for one’s son or daughter had a color, it would be the whole rainbow. Thats what I felt when I took Anukarsh out for driving in the afternoon. One month back he drove the car for the first time while I sat next to him ready to pull the hand-break if needed. Luckily I never needed that to be pulled.
Overall a busy day which started with a game of tennis. Then some client meetings for project consulting for a major theme park. Ending with the Green Belt training and starting the black belt batch for the evening session.

12th Jan 2021
Sales is not about selling anymore, it’s about building trust and educating. Based on this philosophy I made 2 videos today to highlight importance of Lean and Six Sigma in Sales and IT. Additionally I recorded one Corporate Ghazal too. The links of all the videos are given below.

11th Jan 2021
Name the nation we all hate - Exami-Nation! Well, today was time to face an examination. Anexas is running its training and consulting business since 2006. We have been affiliated with PMI for our Project Management trainings and as they have changed the format, they want us to pass an exam to confirm our understanding of the new edition. So, whole day I studied to pass the examination conducted in the evening. Scored 96%!
However, I did not skip my tennis session in the morning. Why? Because all exams and no play makes Amit a dull boy!!
IN the afternoon had some discussions for possible partnerships and at 5 PM launched an internship program for final year students of my alma mater LIT, approximately 30 students joined the internship program of Anexas and all of them were given a project to complete.
In the evening joined the ongoing online Black Belt training for half an hour.
Looking forward to a new schedule tomorrow...

10th Jan 2021
If your soul has no Sunday, it becomes an orphan. But for me, it was a working Sunday as usual. After the morning gym, began with the online Rotary meeting in the morning and then went on to address the ongoing Black Belt training which had a guest session by Shailesh and then my other trainers continued as I got busy studying for the PMP Trainer’s course.
Few discussions on phone with mother and father to resolve some of the issues they are facing regarding their physiotherapy sessions were followed by Black belt closing in the evening.
Ended the day with a tandoori chicken as I planned my weekly schedule with lots of love.
I hope someday soon I will start getting my Sunday!

9th Jan, 2020
Today in the morning I conducted a PMP Introduction webinar attended by around 300 participants. So happy to see the enthusiastic parcipants giving great feedback about it. PMI has changed the exam pattern and introduced some new topics since 2nd Jan. Feeling proud that Anexas was one of the first companies to spread the awareness about the new format.
In the afternoon I recited my ghazals in the Mushayara organised by Bombay Art Club on invitation by Imroz Alam. The ghazals were liked by everyone.
Today in the evening addressed the Black Belt batch of Middle East participants as it was their last day.
And finally the dinner - today it was fish. Trying to catch up on the deficiency of good cholesterol I found out in yesterday’s test report.

8th Jan, 2020
The new year wishes have almost stopped coming in. That means the we have entered the new year and started working on our resolutions, if you made some.
Somehow restarting my blog has been the new beginning for me. So here I go -  started my day with my tennis lessons. Then read newspaper after a long time...almost after 4-5 days!
Prepared for tomorrow’s PMP training workshop. Want to join? Contact me!  I am going to talk about the new PMP exam pattern. Attended some Shayari lessons with Imroz Alam saheb and worked on my old ghazals. Tomorrow is my mushayara, you know!
My blood test report indicates that my good cholesterol is low and bad is high! So I need to get back to the good food habits. I will, of course! You will see the difference soon...
Right now reflecting upon the day and writing the blog at 10.50 PM. Time to sleep!

7th Jan 2020
For the last 8 months I have been starting my day with a strong tea. In India, we call it as Karak chai. My wife Varsha makes fun of that tea by calling it ‘kaadhaa’. Also, I have been taking 2 eggs daily (sunny side up). This ritual has been followed since the pandemic started, and still continues.
Today when I woke up, I had a pain in the upper left side of back...just behind the lungs. Took a pain-killer. Still went to Gym! Then got ready to make a video on ‘How Lean Six Sigma can improve safety.’ After editing, the team posted it on LinkedIn and other platforms.

We are running currently morning and evening batches of Green Belts. I am not able to attend it due to other assignments. I entered into the discussion today in the evening batch for a few minutes - trying to resolve an issue while Gopi (my co-trainer) was taking session on Value Added and Non-Value added process steps.
From 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm had a meeting with PMI ATP contact point. Had a few discussions and clarifications. My team members asked some uncomfortable  to the PMI team. Some other clarifications regarding PMI Bangalore chapter  were sought - how are they able to advertise in a certain way, etc.
Wrote the blog at 11.45 pm. Going to sleep now.
