Ok guys i need some help here..

A couple of days ago i was on reddit and i read a comment where someone was talking about how much lyle loves Erik and how he has always made that clear to his partners both anna back then, and rebecca now; like how he didn't hesitate to move from his previous prison to be with Erik, although he was in a better position there, also rebecca was living right across from the prison, still he know that the most important thing for him is to be with Erik(😭)

but anyway, they mentioned that lyle even told rebecca that Erik Is THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE…

Like what!!! i can't stop thinking about this It's the sweetest thing ever..

I would love to know if lyle actually said this and in what context. It would be vrey sweet to hear him actually be this vulnerable (although he didn't have to, we all know that lyle's actions speak so much louder than words)

I'm just so happy that they're were reunited😭😭 i'm so curious about anything regarding their reunion and how they interact with each other now...after beaing sepreated for 22 years, not allowed to even hear each other voices… having to grow up in prison without each other, after being so dependent on one another throughout their life to feel safe and to love and to be loved back…

But honestly it made my day, and made me just so unbelievably happy to read this.. to know that they're together now. seeing each other every day, talking to each other, watching movies together just like the old times…ALSO playing fucking tennis😆

I really hope they've found happiness despite their heartbreaking story.. they deserve to be happy..

Lyle is so SO interesting to me.. he is so stoic, and seemingly, stern and less emotional -he had to be-.. but his softness, his protectiveness of Erik??? I just can't.. he's literally counting the days becuse he wasn't able to see his little brother, and it was bothering him so much that he had to tell someone about it…

I keep thinking of the 22 years they were cruely separated.. and it breaks my heart.. i know it was hard on Erik, but i think it was absolutely unbearable for lyle.. and that's why, for decades, he never stopped fighting until he was reunited with Erik💔

i just want to say, that i believe, and know that Lyle and Erik are good people, who went through ALOT.. and the thing about the girl he's allegedly dating benig underage? is complete bullshit.

maybe it's just a girl he met - who is NOT underage.. there isn't ANYTHING that backs that claim - and he won't be doing anything wrong IF he was dating a girl who is younger than him.. people sometimes find comfort and love, and connect with each other for a million different reasons..

people can/will still have their opinion on it (although it's still just rumors..) but It dosen't, and shouldn't change the fact that he and Erik still should be set free and live their lives… His personal life (as long as he's not doing anything wrong) isn't really any of our business …

Also i just want to say, that i do really think that the timing of these news is interesting to say the least .. like why now? When finally we're seeing positive progress in their case…

Ahhhgg.. Idk … I just know that i will always love Lyle.. for all the thing he did to protect his brother throughout his life,selflessly sacrificing it for the sake of keeping his baby brother alive.. and everything he went through… i just.. i don't know, i want the best for him, and for him to love and trust someon and for someone to love and trust him… he deserves it..

Ps. i just want to clarify, of course i know that the girl he's is allegedly dating is not underage.. if she was underage, then that will NOT be ok… He wouldn't be any different from his father.. but i know thats not Lyle.. someone who lived through rape and SA like Lyle and he saw the effect it has on himself and his brother, would NEVER do the same, i believe that,and i believe in him.

But If he felt connected to a girl who is younger than him, and she is in fact over age ( she's 21) then i can't rally fault him for that. especially since his wife( or ex wife?) Said that it was not a cheating scandal and they've been separated for some time..

Just finished watching the netflix series.. and i have a couple of things to say about the way they characterized lyle.. so please i'll vent here a bit..

The actual Lyle.. the real Lyle.. i just.. i love him.. i adore him and i can't stop thinking about him.. becuse he's such a complicated person, just SUCH a complicated personality. but people tend to overlook him and concentrate on Erik -for various reasons- which is fine, but i feel like sometimes he'll get ignored? but he's character and psychology and the way his brain works is much more compiling to me..

Like the way he was so emotionally damaged and repressed, and, "trained " to be a cold, stern, uncaring person. against all odds, he grew up to be the complete opposite .. just how caring and protective of Erik he was( and still is, fighting for so many years, never giving up until he was reunited with his brother in prison😭) and how brave he was to stand up to his dad. and till him "You'r never touching my brother again" although lyle has been afraid of his dad his whole life, he still did it for his younger brother.. he essentially through his life away in the sake of protecting Erik😭

He had to be strong and think about things a teenage boy shouldn't worry about. like with his mom and the suicidal letter she left for Erik to find, and how he told Erik, it's ok i'll take care of it, and tried to talk to his mom… and how he had to tolerate his dad's emotional abuse and role with it all his life.. and tried time and time agine to do everything his dad wanted in the exact way he wanted it to be done… My heartaches for him he was so lonely.. but at least he had Erik.. they had each other… i just feel so bad for him,i want to give him a hug, i hope that he is happy.. he is a hero who saved his baby brother..

him initially not wanting to expose his dad for what he did, becuse he felt like he'd be betraying him… and even when he DID tell the things and stories that happened to him, he would still down play some of the situations.. even after every thing that monster did to him and Erik, he still loved him and wanted to protect him😔

And finally, the way this (and other) shows try to portray him and Erick as spoiled brats and cocky..just how far from the truth it is…is just sad… how they made lyle, this aggressive out of the rails manic.. (i'm not even talking about all the weird shit they tried to hint at between him and Erik..) it makes me upset.. it makes me think of that story that lyle told, when his dad interfered and got him a room when he went back to college, something going wrong and another kid getting the room so he just lived in the hall for two weeks cause he didn't wanna have problems with the other kids.. he just wanted to fit in and for people to like him( keep in mind that this is all after years and years of his dad telling him, you don't need friends, you shouldn't care what other people think or feel.. he still didn't want to just walk all over people..) it's just not fair.. dose this sound to you like a heartless spoiled brat like the way he was portrayed in this show..

I just hope they will get their shot of freedom.. I'm really optimistic. Lyle and Erik deserve to be free…

When asked how frequently he has missionary sex, Link tried SO HARD to not say like 95% of the time lol. But honestly I agree with Rhett it is getting a totally unfair bad rap, it's one of the best positions if you actually love the person and I wonder whether some people shit on it because they don't have that level of intimacy / comfort and missionary makes it awkward and not because it is always SO bOrINg

And I think it was also the episode where they were flirting and Rhett was asking Link whether "a girl" likes to wear her boyfriend's t-shirts because he's so much bigger than her, all that after it was established Link has a habit of taking Rhett's t-shirts... But here yeah, Rhett was hearing all this for the first time...

The fact that they chose Belvedere over each other... wow. First of all, I am against the person who sent that voicemail. Just saying. We know that it is something that makes them uncomfortable, don't make them confront it face to face. They were clearly very uncomfortable. The biggest, deepest and ultimate reason they picked Belvedere was because the fan was essentially manipulating them into picking each other. They put them against the concept of mating with an animal-like deity and everybody knowing about it. So, everything that is vile put together - bestiality, sacrilege, shame. What they were doing was to bring forward the image of a "secret Rhett and Link sex affair", very triggering, to their face? Come on. And push them to say that after all that wouldn't be all that bad compared to the other horror. And they reacted against it exactly because the answer was manipulated to be obvious. Unless they truly think that publicly shagging a rooster god is a better idea, which would be kind of alarming. They obviously did not give the normal answer because they felt coerced into it and because the whole situation is very suspicious. I mean, average platonic straight friends comfortable in their skin would be like "okay man it's gonna be one lame night and we never talk about it again and nobody will know hahaha". But they couldn't even go for that. You know? Unless they truly are the most unattractive people they have seen to each other... which... based on previous interactions those last 12 years... doesn't seem to be exactly the case. But what do I know? I still think that voicemail was a big foul both from the sender and the crew and they were frustrated, they lowkey admitted it.

Honestly, I sort of understand Link in the strip club thing. Men are used to be so unapologetic about their horniness and lust that it has become a standard thing to just go with your pals and all sport a hard on for the same woman in the public. I am not saying it is bad but I can totally get that someone might not like this type of vulnerability or impertinent forwardness (whichever way you look at it). I don't think it was so much for not going crazy for the stripper (though it could be a possibility to suspect) but rather that Link is uneasy with blurring lines of dynamics (the irony), he likes clear-cut situations................Unless he has no alternative.................. But it could be that the knowledge of horny males surrounding him could be alarming to him for various reasons, fair enough.

Despite receiving judgment again, Link was mostly keeping it cool except he showed hints of annoyance in two occasions, when Rhett said a billion times he would double check with his wife first before doing anything like going to a strip club (which is awesome and the right thing to do, however he said it so many times it felt he put on the cassette playing) and the second time Rhett came back to the "I'm not going to the strip club with you, I already knew I would not have a good time with you in a strip club" which was so out of nowhere and it hurt Link, despite being able to laugh at it the first time Rhett made the joke. Rhett was kinda assholey in this episode. He is always off-putting to me in Sextembers. At this rate, if in theory there is a chance of doing a big announcement, you know what, I don't see Rhett doing it in the next 50 years lol He is so not ready.

Ok, so i finally found the time to watch the latest ear biscuits… And i have alot of thoughts..will not thoughts, just one big thought..

It's about RHETT… rhett, and his facial expressions throughout the whole podcast..

Starting with him just not understanding at all how link thinks he looks less of himself without the glasses. Becuse to rhett, as he said many times before. he's known link with glasses longer than without them. so THIS is the unusual for him (link wearing glasses) idk, i just find that extremely endearing and heartwarming..

the whole strip club conversation.. rhett kinda looked.. offended?? or was it that he was intrigued by the way link's brain workes? Every time link would go on a tangent explaining why he's uncomfortable with the idea of someon getting aroused around him. just look at rhett's face, i couldn't place his reaction..

and finally, but most importantly… The WAY rhett looked at link at the end of the ep… when link lowered his voice and said the "let's see what names you call me with my head between your legs" rhett just LOOKED.. not even a blink, except his eyelashes fluttering as if he was not expecting link to say it, or to say it in THAT way… and i just- i don't know,(there was also this part where rhett looks at links groin area for a couple of seconds, at a very important part of the conversation. they were literally just talking about getting an erction next to your friend, and then jenna reads an erotic part of the novel and rhett is..checking??? If you wanna see for yourself what I'm talking about -it's arond 1:15:44 in the video virgin- might just be imaging this😃)

Btw i call bullshit on rhett saying he wouldn't care what any of his friends are doing or feeling if he was in a strip club, becuse he would be too distracted by the striper. The vows renewal .. and Wonderhole episod2..

Oghhh, i actually ndeed a couple of days to recover abit from them.. And the Wonderhole episod being on the same fucking day😫😫 it was alot..

First, the way rhett was trying to holds eye contact with link.. but link being so awkward, he was barely able to look at rhett without giggling… but please, note the way rhett was LOOKING at link…. when link wasen't looking at him, he would basically stare, but the MOMENT link's eyes shifts towards him, he'd look away…(you would think he's a middle schooler and this is his first time having a cruch on someone😭) and the last part… the "if you feel like it, kiss" link literally saved him. rhett just didn't know what to do, he just kept fidgeting ,and jumping from one foot to the other, wating for someone to move, or for something to happen… like i don't think i've ever seen rhett be this discombobulated before, he literally forgot to say the thing they say at the end of EVREY episod, someone from the crew had to till him, say it!!

I mean tell me please, i'm i missing something? Do all best friends look at each other with so much adoration and LOVE??… I can't remember looking at my bff like this😅 But who are we kidding, they're not like any other, are they? Forty years of being together, since elementary schoole, growing up together, through thick and thin, good and bad.. just all of it, together. ( I'm not trying to be over the top about it..this. is.literally.it.😭😫)

And about the second episod of Wonderhole.. offf, just so many emotions😭 the thing that gets me is not that they actually did that, and acted these scenes, no. What just makes me want to cry (while simultaneously giggling and kicking my feet) is that they actually sat down, just the two of them, and wrote that, before even knowing if they're ganna actually do it and if it's gonna happen or not… things like "wherever you go, i go" " i'll miss you best friend" and "you'r fused together, you two are literally one"… And so many other lines that are just so romantic, it hurts..and we still don't know what they have instore for us in the coming episodse…( I don't know if my heart can take it, but i'm so excited..)

But I'm realizing that this is like their little love letter to each other, without actually having to look into each others eyes and SAY those things (like in the vows renewal, where they just seem to forget how to make eye contact..😆)

But I'm so happy for them, and i'm especially happy to see that they're actually starting to understand the depth of their connection. It's not just a "normal" friendship, it's so much more than that, and while i've always thought that they down play it and try to say, oh it's not a big deal ( becuse of thing they'd say some times..) i think this forty years mark is really resonating with them.. and thank god for that, it's about time.

Ok hear me out guys, so I was watching rhett and link's interview with howie mandel, and don't get me wrong, it's good and all.. but there was this part where howie interrupted rhett, trying to be funny🙄and it Kinda made me upset; because thett was being serious, he was going to share something that happend between him and link, that was important to their friendship. (I'm sure some of you guys know what i'm talking about) where link, a couple of years ago, talked to rhett about worries that he had about their friendship, and he wrote him a long email just pouring his heart out, rhett shrugging it of, and when thay talked about it, rhett had just told him of course were friends even if we dont spend alot of time of work together..and didn't really think much of it at the time.. And how after like two years while he was cleaning his email, he found this email from link and REALLY read it and understood it, he regretted the way he handled the whole thing back then, the way he just didn't get link or where he was coming from. So he brought it up to link and talked to him about it, and apparently he was crying and apologising, (I find that so SO sweet and beautiful; that you care and love someone SO MUCH, that even after all this time has passed, realizing that you were wrong, and the thought of you maybe hurting him hurts YOU, and it being so intense that RHETT of all people cries because of that thought, i'm just-😭) And he was going to tell us more about it and link's reaction to it all…But of course the comedian had to come in and be funny, and be like this is heavy ha ha ha , lets make a joke out of this🙄😣
