Today Had a protein rich breakfast ...the veg protein dosa ...
Reason for posting : The dosa tasted so good and felt so easy to prepare .....i am compelled to share it here :)
Ingredients :
1 cup chickpea flour
1 tsp each of rice flour and wheat flour
2 tbsp curds
salt to taste
veggies - onion + green chillies +curry leaves +grated cucumber +grated carrot +palak leaves +spinach leaves +paneer (You can use any combination , any quantity but Onion and Gree chillies are must)
1 tsp jeera
oil
Method :
1. Dry mix all the flours together along with salt and jeera
2. Add curd and vegetables of your choice and mix .
3. Add required quantity of water and mix such that there are no lumps (Hand mixing is preferable than in spoon). The mixture should be not too thin -not too thick.
4. Keep it aside for half an hour .
5. Pour a ladle of the mixture on a hot tawa and shape it as a circle. Pour half a tsp of oil and wait till it cooks (Approx : 5 minutes) on medium heat . Then Flip the dosa and let it cook for a 10 seconds.
Serve it with garlic coconut chutney or any chutney of your choice .

So here’s a small introductory festival recipe : Kosambari ( soaked greengram dhalsalad) Ingredients : 1/2 cup soaked hesarabele (Green gram dhal) 1 carrot grated 1/4 cucumber grated 1 twig of curry leaves salt to taste pinch of hing 1 tsp mix of mustard +cumin seeds Oil for seasoning Method of Preparation : Drain the soaked dhal and keep aside. To this dhal , add grated carrot , grated cucumber, salt . Take oil in a kadai , when heat add mustard +cumin +hing+curry leaves .when they start spluttering , add it to the dhal mixture and mix . Ready to eat as a side dish with rice & sambar . Also can be eaten as salad.
