FINAL FANTASY FANFEST: A WEEK LATER?

It’s your local flaming degenerate here coming at you with my super late thoughts on FINAL FANTASY XIV FANFEST 2018, so let’s go... WASSHOI!!!

Fanfest ran smoother than previous years and I’m grateful for that.

WE DARK SOULS NOW BOIS

Though BLU looks cool I am big concerned, also I’m too red for that job.

Las Vegas claimed half of my blood and all of my chapstick.

...No, seriously it was so dry I was bleeding half the week.

My entire online presence is now defined by my brawl with an actual Namazu (I WON DON’T LET PEOPLE TELL YOU OTHERWISE)

On the subject of server splits; It sucks, it really truly does, but I WILL find a way to visit if I have to fucking punch a hole through the data centers.

On a serious note though, Fanfest was amazing. I made a ton of new friends and got to meet plenty of old ones. It was a once in a lifetime experience and I couldn’t have been happier. Thank you to everyone who I met on the show floor and I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance to spend more time with you. @fatewalker @rolanberrycheesecake @sagolii-snowflake @moonlifter I love you all and thanks for taking the time to find me! Thank you to everyone who came out to Saturday night karaoke because we ran that fucking building and it was the best. From drunkenly singing A Whole New World to hearing @foewreckem sing the Evangelion Opening I was really, truly, humbled to have all of you show up and have a good time with me. 

Thank you to my FC mates THE RISKBREAKERS: @livvyplaysfinalfantasy @crimson-bull @thecat-inthehat @varae-ver-you-are @bad-moen-rising (Tag everyone else I know I’m missing people) For being the best squad, picking up half of my blood, and reminding me that I have a home whenever I log in. Ignore the fact that the Namazu almost won the deed to it, I love you, I’m not sorry.

Thank you always to my DISCORD SQUAD: @fishtailsushi @confession-snacks @haila-wetyios @luma-lee @starinthesandsea @koidrakevice @whys-and-wayfarers @evrett WE DID IT YALL. We made Fanfest happen. I am still shocked we were all able to come together and hang out that whole week. We ate great food, drank way too much, and laughed till we cried. It rocked and I can’t wait until we meet up again.

All in all, Fanfest renewed my love for this game and affirmed my love for all of you. Cheers to the next adventure.
