hallo! i answered a few asks about it here and there back then that are kind of in the same vein as this one (mostly these two -> (1) (2)) but i never did make an updated one.. especially since i think my experience in all of it changed quite a bit since then. but, i still kind of hold the belief that i'm not that good at giving out art advice like this ? or at least not in tje big general sense & in a helpful manner. did consider recording myself making a sprite and adding in a bit of commentary about my process, since i'm starting to get back in a spriting mood, that could be arranged..

either way, if you want good advice, there is always the mspfa server's dedicated mspa art study channel, & i can also recommend my friend meatman's video about making a fankid since it has some good leads on how to go about it.

hallo ! lal i completely forgot about the forums, my classpect thread on it was a bust. but it's sweet to see people who still remember it !

unfortunately i'd say no on the sinspects stuff, at least for now. i still have them on my mind, and i defo want to have a cool thing out & probably have it free for everyone to use (with credit), but they 100% need more work before that, and also i want to actually do something with them before that. like with my cherub subspecies from a while back and the ocs i made with it (that and my cherub mspfa, but only slightly related, since i never got to the juice of that story. shug)

either way, thanks for showing interest in those! these past few days i have been getting more and more into the idea of revisiting my old homestuck stuff, thanks to a few friends in the community making their stuff & me really liking it (looking at ash alternianclown right now), so this is a nice brain refresher. whose to know.. maybe i will work on those. soon ish.

hey, um. utterly insane collection of fandoms aside… could i get an honest opinion from yall on how much you’d be willing to pay for my art? dug up some of my most polished examples from the last 6 months (yes, i draw! i just post way more on twitter these days 😭).

i’ve been wanting to set up commissions for a while but im terrible at gauging the value of the stuff that comes out of my own two hands lol 😵‍💫

hallo ! i don't use that many fixed brush and canvas sizes, but for brush at least i know i used a standard aliased/pixel circle brush, size 5px for the one on the left & then 1-2px for details/stuff to the right. drawing size itself here is p easy to check, 828x425px, but for actual canvas size mostly i just make a big 3000x3000px one and draw from there, cropping what i like at the end.

also i used adobe photoshop cs3 there. pretty dated now, so should be easy to get your hands on. :9
