Damn, the music won’t wait for me to write...

First post to kick off the ampLynx blog. I’m not ready a writer, so I hope that you can bare with my writing and hopefully giving me time, I should get better. Not sure about the "getting better" part, but who knows? Writing…

Guess you are curious about what I’ll be writing about, right? As you might certainly not know (but hopefully we will get you to know us more and more), ampLynx is a peer-to-peer digital music distribution platform aiming to help indie artists sell more easily their fantastic tunes. And we all know how hard it can be for indie artists to grow their audience and to make a living out of their passion!!! But we, as huge music fans, really hope through our technology to create a win-win situation for artists and listeners, where both will be delighted by the ampLynx experience.

We are still working really hard to make the platform available soon. In the meantime, I have decided to start this blog, which should be about… guess what? MUSIC!!!Yes, I should talk mainly about indie music, indie music in general, indie music in Tokyo since we are based in this amazing city offering a unique indie stage… Yes I know, used to much indie in this last sentence. But apart from the indie part of the blog, I hope to walk you through our platform gradually once the release is on, to talk about technology in music, and much more music related stuff.

Better be prepared (me included) to turn into a music nerd breathing music!!!

Before closing this first post, I’d love to introduce you 2 Tokyo indie bands that I have discovered this year and that I find, honestly speaking, FANTASTIC.

If you’re looking for some chill, raw, oldie 60s, beach good rock, my big recommendation is the Goood Things. Yes, with three Os! Say it loud with a long stress on the “o”, and you can definitely experience before even starting listening a really good vibe. Good vibe is definitely the key world. Just imagine yourself chilling at the beach with a nice beer and the Goood Things will make it a reality and trust me, your ears won’t regret this goood time!

Let’s now go on with some really powerful rock that will make you crave for more and that’s Tits, Tas & Whiskers ! Heavy riffs, a  touch of grunge, a sincere rock that will make you dance, party, or simply chill and feel the music. Seeing them on stage, you feel their love of the music and their passion is transmitted straight to the audience.

That’s it for my first post. I really hope that I can keep going on writing more (meaning not be lazy) and hopefully get you, people nice enough for reading me, more enlightened posts. I guess that’s when I have to pray for some god-like inspiration. ^^
