I have a few new finds I wanted to share with everyone. I have been having a lot of fun trying to track down a full collection of Steve's MTG cards that are either crimped, miscut, or misprinted but I'm determined to give it my best shot.

On this day of September 30, 2017 we mark the creation of the co-ed fraternity, or Greek letter organization (GLO), Alpha Mu Rho.
Alpha Mu Rho is born from Ascended Minion Project, a group of art collectors who focus their passions primarily on the illustrations used in the Magic the Gathering card game and specifically those created by the artist Steve Argyle.
Alpha Mu Rho shares the (Latin alphabet) badge AMP as an homage to its roots in Ascended Minion Project.
Alpha Mu Rho shall hopefully become a family of members who have a greater love for the illustrators who have helped bring one of the most popular games in the world to life. Alpha Mu Rho is not specifically devoted to Steve Argyle like its initialed namesake, but rather to all of the illustrators past, present, and future, who make this game so inspiring.
Emeria Angel, by Steve Argyle is among the four images chosen to adorn the crest of Alpha Mu Rho, again as an homage to Ascended Minion Project which uses this illustration within its logo.
Shivan Dragon, by Melissa Benson is one of the earliest pieces of Magic the Gathering artwork to resonate with a new group of gamers, being the most obvious fantasy-world-themed crossover for fans of Dungeons & Dragons and other similar fantasy settings.
Stasis, by Fay Jones is recognizable to most older players of Magic and represents many things including a spark for healthy debate about what makes an illustration valuable and also an admittance that even an artist who contributed only a single piece of art for the game helped shape its worlds.
Black Lotus, by the late Christopher Rush is simply the most recognized illustration in the game and represents the collectible Holy Grail of Magic. It is evidence of the game’s continuing longevity and a powerful fantasy and lure to new admirers.
Pledge to Alpha Mu Rho and help shape its destiny as a positive influence in the world of Magic the Gathering fans and a force for worldwide recognition of the game’s most devoted Magic the Gathering art collectors.
