Unpopular opinion: I loved Jake. His sub plot with Chris was my favorite part of RE6 and I'm still mad about it ending open ended like it did.

Almost a decade out and I'm still salty their conflict went completely unresolved. Jakes ending/epilogue legit foreshadowed him being the main character in RE7.

I wish we could get another Darkside/Umbrella Chronicles style game where we can get some conclusions. I need to know what happened between Chris and Jake...and I think every RE fan would stand in unison in getting an update on Jill who vanished after 5.

...also I really wish Jake elaborated on what his thought process was when he asked Sherry about the guy she was chummy with. Like....Capcom come on.
