A while back my pharmacist saw my deadname on my profile and accidentially called it out, he corrected and deleted my deadname from the system so only my preferred name shows up now. There was a crowd of people behind me, so as he hands over the pills he apologized, in equal tone and volume as when he called my deadname and lied saying it's been a long day and he didn't mean to call out -his own- name. I quietly told him it was fine and he didn't need to do that for my sake.

His response: "No, it's my name now."

I went to the pharmacist yesterday, his nametag is my deadname. He informed me he's immigrating and in the process he's changed his first name to my deadname to have an English sounding name. That's why he's now able to get a reprint of his nametag to be my deadname. And repeated, with the intense seriousness of someone who is going to die on this hill: "It's mine now. Not yours. I'm taking." His tone indicated that decision is final.

Bro literally deadnamed me once, and has committed to flat out stealing my deadname. It's his now. Legally. Officially. I over heard his co-workers call him by the name.

what you have to understand about sophie devereaux is that despite how she might first come across, she is deeply uncool. she is a theater kid and she’s also really, really bad at theater. she mentions her high school angst while beating the shit out of an assassin. she loves crime so so much. she thinks of life in terms of noir movie tropes. she struggles in all relationships that aren’t for grifting purposes. as a teenage girl she had a poster of a flight hijacker over her bed.

Hardison doesn't get enough recognition. The amount of energy and creativity he has. He is a fucking Leonardo da Vinci. He builds up their home several times, trying to account for everyone's needs and minding so many details. He builds their fake identities with so much creativity and so much skill, dozens and dozens of them. Whenever he gets given an impossible task like fake an 18th century book in a day, or sculpt beautiful statues, or hack something unhackablw, or or or. And he does it so skillfully. And doesn't get enough praise in my opinion. He maintains hobbies on top of that! He plays the violin masterfully, he knows a lot of technology and tv shows just because he thinks it's cool, he is great at video games amd table top games. And he is cheerful and focuses himself on having joy in his life, in keeping an open heart and caring for people. Most of his childhood crimes were caring for his grandma or doing things for fun and honing his skills. He is incredible. I am so in awe of him.

okay i'm way late to the party but. the long goodbye job got me fucked up. eliot hardison and parker all holding hands as they die, mirroring sophie and nate holding hands. eliot's 'last words' being hardison's catchphrase. eliot being in the middle of parker and hardison. eliot being the one to initiate the hand holding. parker cradling hardison in her arms at the bottom of the elevator shaft. nate's monologue to the interpol agent. sterling's rage when he thought nate got the team killed. "eliot, i'd say call if you need anything but you never need anything." "take care of them." "til my dying day." parker being the mastermind in the final scene.

the second david job is so funny from maggie’s POV. her deeply suspicious date is wearing her ex husband’s button camera. parked like 10 feet away is a deeply suspicious black van. she opens the van door to her ex husband (moderately drunk), the sheikh’s son who sold the david (with a laptop that was clearly monitoring her conversation), a representative of the vatican (eating gummy bears & shrugging), and the hangar receptionist (also eating gummy bears, not bothered enough to shrug). all sitting crammed in the back of a van looking at her with wide eyes. and the best part is that maggie’s not mad at any of THEM, she doesn’t think that these random people (who she is evidently soon told are internationally wanted criminals) might have manipulated nate into this, or that nate’s gotten himself entangled in something by accident, no. she’s just like "nate what the fuck are you up to now". another day in the life of knowing nathan ford

Hardison's unrelenting open warmth and "you're my found family and I love you all (whether you want it or not :) :) :))" vibes from the end of episode 1

Parker's whole emotional arc through all the seasons

Sophie's bad acting versus the moment the Con is On

all their ridiculous nerdy aliases and I love that it came back to bite them in the murder-mystery episode and in Redemption when another nerd went "wait, that sounds like fraud"
