Hey everyone! I’m so sorry for not posting in a while, I’m currently going through some really tough times in my life right now, so I’ve been lacking the motivation to post because mourning a life isn’t exactly the most inspiring thing to base my art on right now. (To keep things in a humorous light, I’ll just say we got hit w the Ao3 curse)

I have actually started working on the intro comic for the AU and the final two (three?) introduction posts for Frisk and Clover, and I hope to have them done as soon as I can. Thank you all so much for your patience, and I’m excited to continue working on this upon exiting my stages of grief (lmao).

Do you think water is wet? 🤔

I mean… is the sky blue? It’s kind of an odd question.

It depends.. while you can say the sky is blue based on what you see… others can say it’s technically violet! The human eye cannot pick it up as well as other species because the frequency of violet is more difficult for the human eye to distinguish! However, since both blue frequencies are being emitted at once, we tend to see blue instead.

That being said, objects can only become “wet” if water touches it. Thus, if an individual molecule of water were to touch another, which it inevitably does in microscopic amounts, then automatically that water becomes wet.

SONATA (Soul of Integrity)

On a darker note, it takes a longer time to properly introduce the next of the group, Sonata, for she is one of the very few who attempts to convince Frisk to turn down the path of violence.

Infamous for her genocidal run through Snowdin, Sonata on occasion would hide from the others, knowing that the rumors of her rampage had been distorted against her, even if they were true in some aspects. She tries to remain in solitude as much as possible, with only her and her headmate, Kanako, to keep her company. After all, only she can hear her true feelings. (The others would never understand.)

If there’s one things that Sona hates most, it’s the act of lying, so as Frisk looks back on the wishes of the Echo Flowers in Waterfall, she presents them the question— were they being honest with themself? Were their choices made truly out of love, or of a different kind of LOVE? In direct contrast with her two counterparts, Keylo and Bassett, Sonata encourages Frisk to get back at those who’ve wronged them, and to never let their guard down, for any sign of kindness is an act of weakness.

Despite protests from the others, she does what she can and will continue to force violence upon them all.

However, if Frisk were to enter the True Lab, maybe they’d fully understand.

Note: While she may be the main advocate for violence and harm, there are very few that she truly cares about, and will protect those small few to no end.

Hey chat, May here! I’m so happy to see that quite a few of you all are enjoying my Togethertale AU! All of the likes and reblogs have really made my month, and I cannot adequately express just how grateful I am for that, as it makes me even more excited to get this show on the road! That being said, I wanted to know what you all would prefer. Upon finishing the character intros, what would appeal to you all first as a proper introduction?

NIMA (Soul of Perseverance)

(Two things!! One, click on the image for better quality, y’know the deal— Two, I’m using pink because the dark purple looks more like blue to me, please let me cook)

Next in line is the gang’s singular braincell, Nima! Growing up as the surface’s absolute prodigy of her time in a harsh line of even bigger prodigies, she presents no hesitation in ensuring that Frisk perseveres through all of the hardships of traveling through the Underground, even if it’s difficult. This goes for puzzles, interactions, and even getting lost in the Echo Flower maze.

Nima’s knowledge on the Underground proves to be invaluable in helping the others discover the secrets of the Underground, even going as far as inspiring change among those unaware (*cough cough, CLOVER AND KEYLO, cough*). However, despite her groundbreaking discoveries, she tends to downplay her genius in order to fit in.

She’s constantly coming up with new theories and alternative routes to problem-solving, always wanting to be the next big thing— her perseverance is mostly spent on trying to gain the approval of her peers, as she failed to gain the approval of the ones she cared about most. Thus, she tries her absolute best to encourage Frisk to put their all into everything they do, teaches them how to not crack under the pressure of saving the Underground, and inspires them to always put their best foot forward.

Overall, despite her quirky and awkward personality, Nima’s ability to benefit her pals with her knowledge proves that with enough perseverance, anyone can push through any challenge they set their mind to.

Note: Without her glasses, Nima is practically blind!! That means that if you were to send her an ask, chances are likely that someone else may occasionally have to answer it for her because she cannot read it.

KEYLO (Soul of Kindness)

Third on the list is the soul of Kindness, Keylo (the others call them Key)!!

See, Key has an interesting background; while they may have an air of sweetness to them, they truly find distaste in almost anyone they meet, going as far as having countless genocide routes out of sheer apathy. That’s not to say they’re not trying to get better at being pacifistic— they’ve actually been trying to let go of their previous genocidal habits in order to be a better role model for Frisk and the others (they are the oldest of the bunch, after all).

Throughout Frisk’s endeavors in Hotland, Key tries their absolute best to teach Frisk to be civil and respectful to the monsters, even after getting through countless annoying puzzles and all of Alphys’ insufferable notification spamming. They’re also trying to work on others, including Sonata (who still hasn’t gotten the bright idea of not killing monsters through her thick skull).

In all, Keylo may be flawed, but they use their self-awareness to ensure that others don’t make the same mistakes they did, displaying the ultimate examples of being kind.

Note: Regardless of whether they like you or not, they will never deny you a good meal— everyone deserves to eat.

BASSETT (Soul of Bravery)

Next of the lot is my home boy Bassett!! As the soul of Bravery, he tends to jump into fights very often, but that doesn’t mean that violence is always the answer. In fact, he teaches Frisk how to use their fighting skills to defend themself rather than hurt others, and to never be afraid during their journey through Snowdin.

Of course, while his ego may be… a little up there (he is the strongest and the fastest of the kids, after all), Bassett truly has a huge heart and will go to no end to defend and protect those who he cares about. Honestly, he’s like a playground bully. He won’t hurt anyone unless he HAS to.

In all, he’s a pretty tough cookie! And he makes it very well known!

Note: He WILL scold anyone who doesn’t add both S’s and both T’s to his name; he chose it after all, he demands respect!! ����

First(?) soul of the bunch, Yuki!! While she may be the youngest and the least likely to speak, they’re also the most likely to sneak up on you with either a prank or a kind sentiment when you least expect >:)

They’re also the first to meet Frisk in the Ruins, guiding them through puzzles and sneakily trying to steal their monster candy. Overall, Yuki is one sweet kid, and they’re there to help test Frisk’s patience. :)))

Note: Yes, there will be a “:))” after any of their dialogue, they love smiley stickers :))

TOGETHERTALE: an Undertale AU

Togethertale, as listed in its name, is an AU where all six of the souls (along with Chara) accompany Frisk together throughout certain parts of their journey through the underground. Each of the souls get their own moment to shine, giving plenty of advice and teaching Frisk a new lesson in what makes up their determination.

However, that’s not to say that the kids don’t come up with their own mischief together when Frisk isn’t listening as well; there will be plenty of hijinks to go around, and even more lore to be revealed!!

I plan to deal this out in the form of mini-comics, doodles, and maybe even written oneshots— my sanity will come into question otherwise /hj
