been thinking this morning about how when kanan and hera found each other, they found their best friend. two people who had been alone for so long finding someone who saw them for who they were and didn't turn away, didn't abandon them. they found someone they could collaborate with, laugh with, be honest with, someone to stand by their side and support them no matter what. their romantic relationship being built off of a strong friendship is just really important to me.

Been super overwhelmed with life stuff so I haven't been very active but wanted to say that SabezraMermaydays has been giving me life!!

Super sad I wasn't able to participate but so so grateful to all the amazing and talented artists and authors for all their hard work in this fun cute event!!

Stop just asking "is it normal?" and start asking "is it harming anyone?" Lots of harmful things are normalized in this society and lots of things considered weird or rare are completely harmless. Whether something is considered normal or common shouldn't be the deciding factor in whether it's okay

Btw, that idea that privilege makes you morally evil and suffering makes you morally good is just repackaged versions of the Christian concepts of the evils of luxury and the holiness of martyrdom. Hope this helps!
