Women support women. It has taken me longer than it should to realise what criticism is all about. It is so easy to criticise the next human because...it’s easy! Either we don’t agree with the way they chose to live or... we see in them the person we wish we could be. How many times have you thought: jeez, can’t believe she’s going to the gym after saying she’s tired...or: damn, she’s so skinny, I bet she starved herself... or: she’s so pretty I bet life is so easy for her! But guess what? It’s their life to live and you have got nothing to do with it! That woman that you’re criticising and judging has her own life going on. A life you don’t see. Most criticism usually comes from jealousy (at least for me) - I envy the woman who’s tired but still pushes herself to go to the gym or yoga. I envy the woman who’s strong and fights for what she wants. I envy them for being and doing what I wish I was (doing). Thinking this and taking this in...that makes me stronger and better (or at least I hope so) because it makes me think twice before opening my judgy mouth. We’re humans and these feelings come with human nature. Is up to us to see what is going on and learn from them!!
