hi I have been seeing these comments and I promise I am not ignoring you, in fact I am deeply in love with you, and everyone who read/reads My Very Soul.

I love love love that story and I loved sharing it with all of you. I had no intention of stopping but it turns out the reality of grad school has made me feel super burnt out and overworked and there hasn’t been time for fanfic as a hobby 😭

I do hope to go back to it at some point (maybe I’ll have time over the summer?) but at this point I’m not sure when that will be. I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you. I wish we could all be unemployed and just play with stories all day!!! and thank you so much for caring about the story, truly, it still means the world. I’m sorry I can’t give you more right now.

I know there is a persistent rumour about him voicing shadow in sonic 3. At first it was debunked because it was not cast yet but people are insistant with it so maybe in the end he will get it? An article in the guardian also mentionned that he was offered the role of william the conqueror. I think he would be perfect for that one but I am not convinced he is good with an english accent.

personally I don’t really feel like his strength is voicework…like he has a pretty voice but he’s a face/emotive actor, sound isn’t his primary tool

and, related, I agree with your concerns about a British accent 😬 however, he would look super hot in the old fashioned armor I’m sure they would costume him in if he were to play william the conqueror 🤷‍♀️

Factory Girl was so poorly produced by that awful Weinstein. Hayden had a three-picture deal with him and only made two out of three. I also agree that Hayden probably quit Hollywood after such a horrible experience and probably saw many bad things. Now that we know what that pig did. That's why I have more respect for Hayden than many other male actors who knew about “w” and what he did to women and still worked with him, like Brad Pitt. That's why I get perturbed whenever someone says SW ruined his career. I truly believe he left because it was(is) toxic, and he went ahead and made small movies. SW gave him a lot of security and let him do what he wanted. He doesn't need “fame,” like many do, no matter what. I respect him, BUT I wish he would give us something other than the cons! He needs to make movies again.

yeah I totally agree, whatever happened on that movie was probably fully horrible and Hayden has a lot of integrity and couldn’t stomach it. and Hayden also is very much NOT a nepo kid, he grew up very normal and so wasn’t really inoculated into that Hollywood cult.

so, while I agree with his reasons, I also want him to make some movies again 🥹 I hope all of his recent SW work is going to get him some traction and some new roles!!
