Born and raised in District 1, Analisa disappointed her parents by choosing to study as a seer under Lavina Raske, rather than going into the government. After her parents were killed by the Omega extremist group, AFOR, Analisa moved in with her brother, Carsyn. While she wants a mate, she doesn't want to have to submit to an Alpha like her brother. She dreams of running away and joining AFOR, but she can't forget their role in the death of her parents. [This blog is sometimes NSFW]

Analisa nodded in response to Hector's question. "Most of my clothes were left, but I was able to get a few of them. I took a few books. No more than three, though. My favorites. My brother in law is going to try to help smuggle some out, if he thinks he can get away with it," she explained. She knew that Hector was trying not to ask. She could see it in his eyes. But she wasn't going to offer up any more than he requested.

"I was pressed for time when I left my brother's house," she said, trying to avoid the fact that she had literally run away. That wasn't something she wanted people to know, especially strangers. "And I had far too many for me to pack in one suitcase."

Though the blush persisted, Analisa nodded. "They do, yes, but it doesn't really compare to having a book that you've had for ages. I would hate to break it." She sat it down on the book case, picking up another one that was more sturdy. The cover had been worn, and it was clear that he was an avid reader of all the books he owned. "I'm impressed by your collection," she said. "Mine I had to leave at my brother's house. Most of them, anyway. I picked two or three that were my favorite."

Analisa was thrilled for her friend. This was what she needed. Someone to love. Someone who loved her. However, Analisa didn't let any of that show. She wanted to be cool and collected, so instead, she just smiled at Bryce. "That's great! I'm glad you found someone you think you like," she said, a warm note to her voice. It was nice, knowing that perhaps something would come from this. "So tell me about him. How did you two meet? What's he like? Do you have a picture?"
"His name is Pollux. He’s really nice. We’re not exactly together so I don’t want to jinx it. I’m happy to just spend time with him now. Not everything is a love story Ana." she joked. She did really like him though and she did hope something would come from it. She didn’t really believe in fairytale romance like her friend though, life and people’s attitude had her believe it didn’t exist. She liked how optimistic her friend was though, it was endearing, something she truly loved in her. It still saddened her at times to know she could never be hers.

Analis bounced lightly on her feet, knowing that the motion would help Catherine. "I know they're young, but do you think they could drink cow's milk yet? That's all we would be able to order in the cafe," she said weakly. "If not, I'll take you shopping right after lunch." It was nice, having someone to go to lunch with. Someone she could learn more about.
Spare Change?
Thomas smiled weakly and finally gave in, nodding. “Alright.." He whispered, clearing his throat and looking at his pups. "….They’re perfect…They don’t deserve this.." He informed as they walked into the cafe and sat down, "…I’m being selfish…keeping them…with me."

Analisa felt her cheeks get hot and sting slightly, and she smiled up at him, trying not to say anything awkward. She knew that she was just making things even more awkward, so she stood quickly and handed the book back to him. "I-I'm sorry," she said quietly, her eyes trained on the ground. "I didn't mean to hurt your book." It was clear that he loved the book, and if something happened to it, Hector wouldn't be happy.

Analisa had been doing really, really well to follow him. She enjoyed hearing about his favorite stories, and then he started talking about naked elves, and she couldn't help but smile at that. It was difficult to think about it without imagining him as one of those elves. The book slid out of her hands and she just barely caught it. "Sorry," she said, blushing lightly. "Those are good stories, yeah." Just stories, she told herself. They were just stories.

"Fine, I won't set you--wait. You might have found someone?" she asked, turning to face Bryce. She was thrilled. Bryce had been single for far too long, and Analisa wanted to find someone for her, someone who she could love. And more than that, someone who would love her in return. "What's his name? What's he like? Or her?" Bryce hadn't exactly said it was a male, so there was no reason for her to assume that it was.
She looked at the tv. “I don’t want set up….I….well…I kind of already met someone I want to pursue. I just, yeah, I’m not counting my chickens but I like them and well, I don’t want to fuck it up." She shrugged, looking at her hands. She loved her friend, she really did but she felt kind of shy about the whole subject and she really wasn’t sure how Analisa would respond to it, to everything about it. She didn’t want to keep her friend completely in the dark though, especially when she’s thinking of trying to bloody set her up.

"No one likes being outsmarted, no, but there are two things that an Omega has, especially an Omega female. We have our looks and we have our brains. I would rather not be controlled just because I didn't know how to use the latter," she murmured. It was a heavy topic, but she couldn't help but bring it up. Sometimes she hated the injustice. "What about you?" she asked, trying to diffuse the tension. "What was your favorite story?"

Analisa sighed. "I didn't mean to say you aren't happy. I just think it would be fun for you to get out and find someone new. That seems to be the sort of thing you like. Besides, what if you come to this party and meet someone absolutely fabulous, and end up really, really liking them? Hmm? Then you would have to thank me because I was the one who set you up with them." She nibbled the cookie, turning on the old tv set. "It doesn't get many channels, but it's enough."
"Yeah, I don’t want a next new someone. I’m happy. Do I not seem happy?" she put on a fake smile. “I don’t know why you want me to be with someone knew so bad. I’m fine. I’m perfectly capable of making and meeting my own love interests. I date. I go on dates. Don’t feel bad for me and please, do not try to set me up with any idiots at this party or I’ll get drunk and make a show of me and you for shits and giggles. That’s one way to make them go running." She smiled wickedly.

Analisa could see just how much the subject was affecting Bryce, especially when she started rambling. It was a sure sign that the woman was flustered, and that was the last thing she wanted. "I won't bond to a jackass. It's one date, Bryce. Beside, you never know. You could find your next new someone at the party," she said with a grin. That was exactly what Bryce needed. To find someone new, to be able to have a real relationship. Ever since her thing with Jaiden, Analisa had attempted to find her someone better. Someone who would properly care for her.
"You have a date?" Bryce’s heart dropped slightly. Of course she never had a chance in the world but she didn’t know how she’d feel watching her friend with someone else. “Sure, I’ll help. Although our styles are kind of different but I know what suits you. You can be like my living doll who I get to dress and do make up for…I might just lock you up in my cupboard instead though. If you and him get on and you bond…Well you’ll leave me and my cupboard is a beautiful place. It’s colourful. I can give you a bucket to use as a toilet and everything. Let you out every so often to stretch your legs. I’m joking of course, unless you think it’s comfy enough. Please don’t end up bonding with some jackass that never lets me see you, some day. I would have to stand outside your window singing depressing songs with a guitar that I can’t quite play. The police would have to be called and it would get nasty." She joked and rambled, she just couldn’t take the idea of being separated from her friend though.

"They aren't going to be pompous twats," Analisa said, rolling her eyes. Though really, she didn't know what kind of people they were going to be. "I think...his nephew is coming. And maybe his brother? I don't really know. Just some of the people he's met so far." Analisa colored at the assumption that she wanted to bond with him. "I...like him, there's no doubt about that. And we're going out for dinner, but I don't know yet where that's going to go." Mortified, she felt her face turn scarlet. "Would you, maybe, help me pick something out to wear?"
"You make mingle sound dirty.I feel violated by your words. I am no mingler. No but really, I do like to mingle but I would prefer it was with a nice crowd rather than a bunch of pompous twats. Is it going to be pompous twats, Ana? Because if I’m landed with a bunch of idiots because you secretly want to shag the host, or knowing you and your romantic views ‘bond with him’ then I will very happily kick your ass, in the nicest way possible. I’ll kick your ass with love." She smiled sweetly at her friend, which was a complete juxtaposition to her words. She was joking though, that was obvious. She’d never hurt Analisa. She meant too much to her.

Analisa knew, in fact, that Bryce would warm to him if there was a party involved. Because that was just how her friend rolled. It made her wonder how she ever got the internship with SBC, but she had seen Bryce at work, and her demeanor was completely and totally different. "I asked you to come because I thought you would have fun and I know you like to mingle," she pointed out. "If you don't want to come, then fine." Purposefully, she avoided the question about the crush.
"I absolutely love how you assume that a party will warm me to anyone." She laughed and poked her friend’s side. “Of course it will, as long as there is either free booze or food. Either I’m fine with. ‘Looks really good’? Do you have a crush? Are you trying to make me your wingman? I am really not good as a wingman. I’ll just stand in the corner and make really obvious jokes and giggle to myself. It’s true." She felt a pang of jealousy, she really hoped her friend didn’t like the guy but she had a feeling she did.

Analisa chuckled and sat on the sofa, crossing her legs. "He just moved in. I went and took him cookies, and here's why you're going to love me. He invited me to his house-warming party, and extended the invitation to you. He's new in the capitol, and I...he looks really good," Analisa admitted. It was difficult to admit that she liked him, and she still couldn't come right out and say it, but he was kind, and shy, and he liked Grimm's Fairy Tales. That had to say something.
"I would do that. Don’t doubt me for a second." She laughed and winked. “Of course, you would never withhold cookies from me anyway. You love me too much." She tried to smile as she heard her friend had made a new friend. “Hector? Is he nice? You gave him cookies? How dare you! The cookies should only be for me. Only I am allowed cookie love. I feel betrayed. It’s as if my love means nothing to you." She stuck her tongue out and grabbed the plate of cookies clinging to it to make her point, even if it was a joke.

"Knowing you, you actually would do that," Analisa said with a smile. She could always count on Bryce to brighten her day, even if it was just by being weird. Bryce was everything that Analisa wished she could be, but in her mind knew that she never would be. "I like it here. The neighbors are nice. And there's someone who just moved in down the hall from me. His name's Hector. I took him some of the cookies I made."
"Yeah. I’d have a sit in protest in the middle of the room and refuse to move until I got the cookies back. I’d ask for a bucket to go to the toilet and everything. Make life extremely uncomfortable for you because that’s the kind of friend I am." She laughed lightly grabbing a cookie from her friend when she neared. “It is bigger than your room, plus you don’t need to tiptoe around. Now I can come around ALL THE TIME too. You’ll be so sick of me, you’ll move again."

Analisa had to think for a moment. They were all so wonderful and so crafty. Finally, she turned to the page that contained her favorite. "The Peasant's Wise Daughter," she said with a small smile. It had encouraged her to be as wise as the peasant's daughter, something she didn't know if she had succeeded in. "I always saw her as a bit of a role model. How to behave. How to live, really. To be wise in all I did."

"I know you didn't mean to mock. And I would never withhold cookies from you. That's sort of asking for disaster. It's small, but look at it. It's cozy. It's about seven hundred square feet, and it's all mine. And look at it this way. It's bigger than my bedroom," Analisa pointed out. Walking into the kitchen, she grabbed the plate of cookies. "They're chocolate chip."
"Babe, I wasn't mocking you. I was joking." Bryce's face fell. She hadn't meant to upset her friend at all. "You know I really am proud of you. I'm proud you're doing this alone. It is a nice place even though it's smallish but it's only you anyway. Don't be mad at me" she pouted playfully. "and I'll never say no to cookies. My first love."
