This idea for an AU I had where Terence is the Dominant of Alexander has been living rent-free in my head for the last week. I simply had to share it with all of you.

Clive Rosfield looks like such a stereotypical Final Fantasy protagonist. Big sword, lots of black leather, emo hairstyle. You expect him to be broody and grumpy and closed-off and emotionally stunted. And then you play the game and Clive Rosfield is I shit you not an actualy ray of light. He is the politest goddamn character - his daddy clearly raised no impolite entitled brat, he always says please, thank you, excuse me, good day, etc. When he finishes a side quest and people want to pay him for doing their things, he's like 'oh no please, i don't need payment, I did this to help out, it's fine' and they're like 'TAKE THE GODDAMN MONEY PRETTY BOY!!' (paraphrased but not much) and he's like: o///_///o '... thank you.' He is a little closed off in the first act, but he has a whole lot of trauma and guilt and grief he's not properly dealing with but the MOMENT he realizes that this is a part of him he can't keep denying, he's ike 'fuck yeah I'll embrace my emotions and do good now!!' and he DOES. Squall and Cloud, you had to physically drag into the party group hugs, meanwhile Clive is like 'Thank you Jill for being here with me I couldn't do this without you!'. He openly cries. In a cutscene. Visible tears. Clive Rosfield really looked at Hugo Kupka and was like 'nah toxic masculinity is not for me, thank you'. He did a whole little theatre performance in his uncle's house to prove he was who he said he was, proving he was a theatre kid growing up. Elwin Rosfield did good by his two boys, Clive and Joshua turned out great. I am obsessed with him, a totally normal amount.

YES A SECRET BLESSING, much like what happened with Clive and Jill they could be sharing an intimate moment when Terence accepts the blessing with enthusiastic consent. That complete trust and love that Dion has in him -- allowing him to bear his wings -- is what allows Terence to safely escape from Twinside with Kihel before Origin completely demolishes everything.
