Every so often someone in the fandom will come up with a justification to do mass targeted bullying, and should you point out that mass targeted bullying is far more mentally damaging and harmful to a community than the thing the bullying is "being done for", regardless of whether said thing is something you like or not (it's not) hundreds of dumbasses participating in it, in order to justify their bullying, will attack you too.

This creates a group of "people doing mass targeted bullying" (Good, doesn't support the bad thing) and "people who say literally anything negative about the mass targeted bullying" (bad, blocked, secretly supports the bad thing because they're not bullying it) in which the "good" people do not reflect on their actions as negative in any capacity

But as a proud hater of many things, I'll happily tell you, if you participate in mass targeted bullying, callout, or harassment, you're far more damaging than a person who drew a picture that makes you uncomfortable.

This goes for just about any dumb thing people like to make a callout post about, btw. Stop participating it and yours and everyone else's life will be so much better, promise

Meet Ebony !

My first Bad Sans Poly fanchild ! ( that I vaguely mentioned in the story concept earlier )

Their name is Ebony !

They weren't born "naturally" per say, as they weren't conceived sexually, the gang actually took part of their soul's magic to create a new soul that later became an energy ball (same way as Nightmare was born) and later a child

Being an energy ball they are technically genderless and therefore go by they/them

Apart from that they are a pretty basic white skeleton with black limbs from their elbows and knees and some markings on their face

Their eyelights are red, with the right one having blue on the bottom and the left one having purple, and their magic is purple

Since they have 5 dads (yeah) they call each a different name as to not get lost:

Nightmare -> father

Cross -> dad

Horror -> daddy

Dust -> papa

Killer -> dada

And also, anything that can be stuffed inside the pockets WILL get stuffed inside the pockets

Talking about clothes, the sweater is light gray, the coat is dark blue, the pants are black and the boots are a lighter shade of blue but not too light

They like stars also

I feel like a lot of the problems this fan base has against sans being the most popular in terms of getting the most AU's would be easily fixed if people actually made AU's and then kept thinking about them?

Like, you always see someone make their own take of "if sans AU was actually this other character instead of sans" and then just drop the design and leave it there and expect people to just run with it, like, what?? Be for real gurl, you're gonna need more than the design to convince people to actually use your characters, how can I autistically love your character if you didn't even were autistic enough to give me something to work with?

At first this may sound weird but let me put this in a way that you could see where I'm coming from: "you expect me to swap out my favorite blorbo with a wannabe version of them just like that?"

I get that people really want other characters to get the same attention sans gets, but that is NOT HAPPENING if you just, grab sans au, and then make them not sans anymore, and then leave them like that, you're gonna get like 2 fanart maximum from people and then they go back to their blorbos right after.

Sans AU's are created, then elaborated upon and made into something much more, while other characters just keep getting the short end of the stick of people just thinking that making an AU of that character is enough to make them rocket straight onto popularity.

Even though there is literally proof that you need to elaborate on these characters to make them actually stick with people: Core frisk and the omega timeline, player from underplayer, glitchtale (which is literally the shittiest thing ever but still managed to sky rocket onto personality, which tells you don't need to make it peak fictions to make it stick with people, just give something for them to work with), megatale, recently there's Dr. Megalo, Undertale yellow. All of these showcase you do not NEED to make it about sans to succeed, you just need to think a bit harder about these characters for people to actually care.

What I'm asking you is: can you lock the fuck in?

Okay before anything else

I love the idea that the tiny dragons shed their antlers and that it is FAST to grow back. That is lovely.

I also love the fact that nightmare didnt warn them (it wouldnt have helped. Dream DID warn ink and swap and they were STILL surprised)

I just. Picture these guys finding the antlers and freaking out. Is lord noot sick?! Is nightmare sick?! What do they do?! Is it like a tooth where you need to wash it off and stick it back in place?! Wait they cant take noot to a vet to let him checked out?!

Then they eventually bring the antler to nightmare like: it just fell off!! What do we do?? D: Are you hurt? Is little Noot hurt?

And nightmare just sitting there like: ah. So that is what i forgot.

So he explains the shedding and no it doesnt hurt. Yes it grows back just fine. No it doesnt hurt to touch the spots just tender and yes you will see his dragon form rubbing the antlers against trees as it itches.

It relaxes them a lot. But that leaves them with the antlers.

And horror just... gets the idea. And he feels horrible. It is like asking if he can carve something out if a fallen out tooth or like ripped off arm!! But the wooden antler is truly beautiful and he keeps picturing different little charms.

But he also knows why nightmare has hesitant to even show his dragon form. He told them what those horrible villagers did to him.

So horror first gives the antlers back to nightmare. And only once he no longer has them he asks him. Just to make sure that nightmare knows he has everything of the antlers. To truly give him the choice and not feel forced or like "well you have it already anyway"

Nightmare frowns and says he needs to think abiut it after horror explains it would be a good luck charm.

After some thinking nightmare asks for more details. Horror shows how the charms would look like (as he has some himself) and says carving and giving one is a show of well.. respect. Honor care. A lot of meanings but all meaning something good. Whcih is why it are called good luck charms. Maybe there is a cultural think in Horror's AU that it is believed that the more good intent you put in a charm the more luck you give to the person you give it to.

Nightmare rhinks it ovee. And ends up agreeing.

Maybe it is as afterthought. Maybe it is because nightmare wnats to give them something special. Something one of a kind. He says they can have small charms to.

They triple check to make sure it would be okay with nightmare andnightmare nods. Horror makes simple moon shaped charms for them. Four tiny moons all worn on their outfits to symbolise their connection to nightmare.

For nightmarr? I am not sure but horror will think of something beautiful!

And nightmare is happy. For the first time his antlers were used for something he liked. Something he can look at and feel happy and content <3

Lord Noot lore as promised

So as you know he has antlers, and I decided they would work like deers' antlers

Which means that in late winter, the antlers will fall, and since he is a magical creature and the antlers are quite small to begin with, they grow faster than deers' ones, so in one month and a half approximately they would grow back, all soft with velvet

They stay like that during spring, and in summer Noot will rub the dry velvet off, and he would be back with his usual black wood antlers until the end of winter when the cycle repeats !

It is not an important bit of lore lol but I did find it pretty funny to imagine the gang experiencing this for the first time and seeing Noot arrive only to be like "... didn't you have antlers ???", then when it is time to shed the velvet and Noot has these tiny bloody bits hanging from the antlers they would be panicking like never before

Nightmare kinda forgot to warn them, it has been a while since he let Noot roam around this often and so he had forgotten about the whole antlers cycle thing

You wouldn’t think that flamingoes are extremophiles just from looking at them. It’s like somebody tried to build the vertebrate equivalent of that fungus that lives inside nuclear reactors, and ended up with a gangly pink dinosaur with a spoon for a face.

I feel like I should be transparent on my opinions on pro/anti shipping

I am anti censorship because I study history and politics and I know media censorship of taboo problematic art always includes silencing queer/radical/poc art because that too is lumped into the label of taboo. I just don’t think you can legally censor things in a way that won’t silence queer art in the current status quo. You see that pattern still with a lot of current bills being introduced.

But in being anti censorship I also think criticism is important and shouldn’t be discouraged either. I think representation of sensitive topics matter and don’t exist in a vacuum of fiction. I don’t think the harm done in fiction is identical to real life but all ideas come from places and some are places are reminiscent of real life violence and oppression. Critiquing problematic fiction as a way to transition to discussions about real life issues is great in that way. I don’t think having a conversation about how art is offensive = censoring people.

I also am anti hostility, I think threatening people with violence only polarizes everything. I don’t think one group is “anti harassment” and the other is “pro harassment” I think both have the capacity to be cruel and hateful.

But tdlr, I think media should be free and I also think because things are free people can be free to be offended, uncomfortable, and upset. I’m also media literate (I like to think at least) and am generally uncomfortable with incest, rape, and pedophilia- and think it’s not crazy for people to be sensitive and uncomfortable around those topics. But I think it’s dangerous to stop creation and discussion on those things as a whole.

Most the time I just block and move on though. I don’t know what that makes me exactly.
