Argos (1), Temple of Hera/old Acropolis of Argos
The Temple here is absolutely beautiful, but there is little to no protection for the ruins. You were literally able to climb over them, albeit there was not much less. Argos’s ruins have been mostly forgotten to most, but are my personal favorites. There are footprints where you can see where statues once stood, and from the hilltop there’s a veiw of every building.
i just loved visiting this place sm, the weather was perfect (granted it was summer), and it was just so surreal
