How did you make your blog icon?

tldr I’m a professional graphic designer and it’s a graphic I made!

Longer version.. I got a good straight-on screencap of the back of 2019 Misto’s jacket, then traced a path over it in Illustrator, then stroked that path with a brush I downloaded that looked similar to his buttons, then added a black background, then played with adding some embellishments like sparkles, shadows, etc

obvi I was a fan before but WOW there is something really special about seeing it all happen just feet away from you; the lighting, the athleticism, feeling the reverbs in your chest, just feeding off of the cast’s energy and how much fun they are clearly having; I’ve seen so many video recordings of the show but it is such an incredibly different experience in-person 💕

so I'm definitely getting tickets to the Cats US tour when it's in my city, but the real question is... do I also get tickets when it's in the city 90 minutes away a few months earlier

I especially love it because instead of it being Tugger telling a confused Deut that it was Mistoffelees who saved her, having her sing the line instead shows that she is already acutely aware of who it was and proud of him 🥲

I think its so sweet that they had old deuteronomy sing a line of mister mistofelees in 2019. Ol’ deut’ must’ve been terrified only to end up back with the rest of the cats and realize that mister mistofelees helped so that line comes off as a thank you and praise from someone he loves most 😭😭😭

I believe Naoimh is the only one of the 2019 movie cast to be reprising a stage role? There are a number of Cats alums in the film but I don’t think any others performed the same role in both.
