Anderson from the office on floor 4 room C
259 posts
People confuse me with Andy a lot, not sure if it's the name or the lashes.. I am NOT Andy... I work in one of the offices near the middle of the ship if you want to pop by, floor 4 room c but recently the place has been off limits due to pipe leakages so okay yeah nevermind no meetings for now. Usually I work in the office but right now I'm stuck on patrol duty for the time being while the place gets sorted out 3.4.2023 UPDATE Room was fixed for a while and was working swimmingly buuut Captain Tim paid a friendly visit and now the entire floor is burnt up. I got mauled and I'm currently recovering from some gnarly burn wounds. I'll keep my history on this little descriptor thing... Anderson history..

Trust me when I say no one, I repeat, no one wants to see what "myself" is when I've had six hours of sleep total since last Thursday!

Why're you whacking that guy anyways?
Wouldn't it be more efficient to go for his leader? It'd both have more of an effect on their weird little cult and make him cry twice as hard!
See now this is some great strategic thinking going on here and I absolutely see where you are coming from however dilemma: do Not want to step foot near that man.

Note
There's no glorn neutral option.
Neutrality means you don't mind, therefore you more closely align to Glorn liker rather than Glorn hater even if you do not choose to actively acknowledge it. Glorn neutral = Glorn liker

Sciendog I cannot believe you are the rational and concerned one for once what is this Bishop up to how is he doing hhis. How is he making you the normal one. This isn't right
(StuckInUniformDevelopment) Your religion sounds interesting. Could I watch your next summoning?
Ahah, how exciting to see folks finally showing an interest in our church... Unfortunately, summonings are not for spectators. They are reserved only for clergy, those of us well versed in the intricate, complicated, and dangerous rituals involved... and Shep. Can't risk an outsider interfering with such an event!
Hope you can understand. Our weekly worship services are always open to newcomers, though!

"Oh yeah, what is it? Nearing noon now?"
Anderson swivelled around to look at a bedside clock. He blinked, eye adjusting to the time annddd... Wow, yeah, it had been a while. He smiled at Peepers as he took his leave, no longer staring now that he himself had his eye closed.
He brought his hand up and waved, his tone is awake and kind.
"I'm happy to talk, thanks for the food Commander Peepers, that was very kind of you!"
Anderson quit waving, bringing his arm back to his side and opening his eye to watch Peepers leave.
"It was a nice talk. Take care Commander, safe travels."

(Previous) He didn't miss it, he found himself staring at what was before him. Anderson wasn't sure what to think. He feels he must be a little careful with his words, perhaps if Anderson ignored it Peepers wouldn't know what his eye was doing and he could forget about it. It seems like a very vulnerable state. If Peepers were anyone else Anderson would say something like 'wow you really like him huh' in response to the eye however this is Peepers. He takes a few moments before deciding what to say. Anderson does not stop staring at Peepers' eye though, it fascinates him a little... Hopefully Peepers does not realise Anderson's eye has not left his. Not many get to see Peepers like that at all, he is still registering it. "That's wonderful Commander Peepers. That's really nice."
"Uh-huh..." Peepers absentmindedly said. "That's why I-"
Just when his badly kept "secret" was about to slip out he snapped himself out of his lovestruck daze. He may not be aware of what expression he was making but he did know that he was
Peepers shook his head to get rid of the lingering mental haze before carefully sliding off the bed to grab his crutches, while actively keeping his eye away from Anderson to hide his flushed face.
Once he had a good grip on them he stood up and steadied himself. "I should get going!" Peepers exclaimed as he hobbled towards the door.
Then he awkwardly chuckled. "Didn't mean to take such a long break!"

Woah Glorn is quite the guy huh..
Remember in your hearts, fellow Watchdogs, the Ten Commandments of Glorn.
Thou shalt worship a myriad of evil deities
Thou shalt create plenty of graven images and idols
Thou shalt scorn the name of Grop and utter the name of Glorn in any context possible
Thou shalt disregard any sabbath day and keep it nasty
Thou shalt dishonor thy father and thy mother
Thou shalt kill
Thou shalt commit adultery
Thou shalt steal
Thou shalt lie under oath
Thou shalt obsess over material possessions and be jealous of others
Amen.

(Previous) Anderson's eye dilated at the sight of the signed splint, it was fascinating to him. He sat himself up to lean in a little as he wanted to see the details more clearly. Anderson grinned in response. "Mmmm..." He made a humming noise while inspecting it. Once satisfied he leaned back, though not as 'back' as he was beforehand, he now sits upright. "That's very sweet! To sign a splint! Don't usually see people signing splints, he must have been real determined to make you feel seen!" Anderson smiled. "So sweet! Kind! I am surprised by the gesture but pleased, I like when people value each other so much. I hope his next visit is a lovely one for you!" He's very enthusiastic over this topic! Anderson would ask more if Peepers did not say that the details were classified. It was a tiny bit unfortunate but he did not wish to pry.
Peepers cautiously watched Anderson as he studied his arm brace, while examining his face for any sign of judgement.
Anderson didn't seem to be, yet Peepers could never tell for sure. All that pressing for details had set him on edge. It was almost if Anderson had been implying that Lord Hater didn't want to see him.
Peepers' shoulders relaxed when Anderson praised Hater. He looked downwards and dreamily sighed, completely unaware of how his eye had formed into a heart shape.
"Yeah... Don't tell anyone I told you this but... he can be a real sweetheart when he wants to be."

(Previous) Anderson shook his head. "Nope. Not often enough anyways... It's boring here, nothing to do, they may bring the occasional snack and talk for a while but that's when they themselves aren't busy with work or having fun. Which isn't often." He squinted at Peepers' response. Why so dramatic? A turn and a widened eye? Anderson was curious by this, perhaps Peepers' understood the feeling? Why is he suprised? "What? Do your friends visit often? Does Lord Hater visit you when you're stuck here? How often I wonder, and furthermore, how long, because really there's nothing much to do and I haven't seen him visiting..." "...Though on second thought that may just be due to my location on the ward..." Anderson figured an important guy like Commander Peepers would have some visitors, maybe that was why he was surprised, because he has plenty visitors. Can he not fathom having no visitors? Why so suprised! Why would a load of computer guys come to the ward! They have much better ways to spend their time.
Peepers stiffened when Anderson asked about his friends. He averted his eye as he said, "I mean, they drop by sometimes..."
Not often enough, yet he couldn't ask them to put their lives on hold to comfort him. Glorn knows they have better things to do.
...Well, he knew for a fact that Lord Hater wasn't doing those better things either. Not that Peepers could ask for anything more when he'd never expected Hater to show at all.
"And so does Lord Hater!" Peepers proudly grinned as he propped his injured arm so Anderson could see. "He even signed my splint!"
He fondly chuckled as he stared down at it. "...Telling him that it's not actually a cast didn't stop him. I guess he wanted to make sure I'd know that he's thinking of me! Even if he's busy!"
That was a load of hogwash and Peepers knew it. Obviously it was a way to boost his own ego. Still, it was a nice thought as long as Peepers didn't dwell on it.
...And as long as nobody prodded at it. Peepers coldly looked back up at Anderson as he said, "The details of his visits are classified."

(Previous) Anderson's eye widened briefly at Peepers' quick motion and instant consequence, he was in a very similar situation with his arms for a while so he understood the pain. Peepers' is in worse condition and yet still gets himself up to go about... This behaviour intrigues Anderson because personally while in this condition he feels all he can do is relax. Anderson nodded in response to the question. "Nothing much to do I will say, both a blessing and a curse... I have mixed feelings!" Anderson brought his hands to his hips and shook his head as he talked. "On one hand it is nice to get rest, but on the other when I'm awake and have nothing to do I truly have nothing to do if that makes sense." "Like.." "If I finished my work for the day and I wasn't cooped up I could go hang out with friends or something right? Well I can't do that right now so all I have left to do is rest." Anderson had a slight irritated tone in his voice, it wasn't too dramatic, more similar perhaps to disappointment rather than anger. "You'd think chilling out wouldn't be so boring.. Where's the entertainment? The talk? Chilling with no chill! This is more comparable to just... WAITING!" He sighed and stopped himself. He did not wish to slide into a rant in concerns of possibly stressing Peepers. Anderson brought his hands back down to the blanket and grabbed around at the edge of it, he was not sure what to say from there without it being a bit negative so he kept himself in silence.
When Anderson started complaining Peepers' eye widened as he turned to look at him.
Huh. And here Peepers thought bed rest was that lazy jer- Anderson's paradise. Couldn't he find something to keep himself occupied with? Wasn't what everyone did when they relaxed?
He may have not understood either ever finishing his work or heading out with friends (it always happened when Hater initiated it or not at all), he did understand being trapped in a stasis.
Peepers tilted his head to the side in mild confusion as he asked, "What, do your friends not come to visit?"
Why wouldn't they bring the talk and entertainment to him? Surely an annoyingly popular guy like him always had someone showing up to goof off...
