Cardonio Credit Card raises the bar a bit higher with its innovative solutions to using one’s cryptocurrency account. It is like having the best of both worlds.
Enter Cardonio Credit Card!
Anyone who has an Ether and/or Bitcoin account can now channel funds into Cardonio and make payments and purchases anywhere in the world, without any fees or mark-up. Other existing fiat currencies may also be used as funds in their accounts through bank transfer or by suing a debit/credit card. Cardonio serves as an extension to one’s existing facilities, plus the advantage of using it practically at cost and using cryptocurrency, if and when one desires.
The transaction goes through a smooth process whereby funds from a person’s ETH/BTC holdings are automatically channeled to his/her Cardonio account. No need to do any side computations. Moreover, no monthly or annual fees are collected for the use of the Cardonio Card, nor on any access to prevailing inter-bank conversion rates. Bowman Offshore Bank Transfers: Want to Put Money in an Offshore Account? Here's What You Need to Know

Stashing money in a Swiss bank account sounds like something best left to corrupt corporations and villains in espionage novels. "In the movies, it's always portrayed as a shady thing," says Scott Sargent, an attorney with legal firm Baker Donelson in Birmingham, Alabama.
However, the reality is there isn't anything illegal about banking in a foreign country. What's more, there are many good reasons why someone would want to put money into an offshore account, including added convenience while traveling and a broader diversification of assets. Still, there's always the risk of currency devaluations – and the IRS has additional reporting requirements for money in foreign accounts.
Before you opt to move your cash to the Cayman Islands, weigh the benefits and drawbacks, and consider the following factors to decide whether putting money into an offshore account is right for you.
Understand the legitimate reasons to use offshore accounts. Not everyone uses offshore accounts to hide their money and avoid paying taxes. Jeffrey Moss, a tax and estate planning attorney with Dawda, Mann, Mulcahy & Sadler PLC in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, says there are numerous reasons why someone might want to have an account open in another country.
People may inherit accounts from an overseas relative, or they may want to be able to easily send gifts to family members in another country. Moss says he's had clients choose to open foreign accounts in locations they visit frequently. "Particularly [in] India, people don't want to carry a lot of money," he says.
"It's only lately that we've become so global that we can go to another country and take money out of an ATM," says Zhanna Ziering, member of Caplin & Drysdale Attorneys in New York City. Even then, there may be foreign transaction fees or other costs associated with converting currency. Retirees who buy a condo in another country may find it beneficial to have a bank account in the local currency to pay their bills.
Other people may choose to open a foreign bank account for currency diversification. This investment strategy involves holding assets in several different currencies to minimize the risk of losing value should the purchasing power of the dollar weaken. What's more, interest rates may be higher in other countries as compared to what is currently offered at U.S. banks.
Don't discount the drawbacks to foreign banking. Keeping money in a foreign bank account isn't risk-free. A country hit with a recession could see its currency devalued and that could mean a person's bank account will be worth significantly less.
Another concern is political instability, which could lead to policy changes. Although the chance is rare, Sargent says a new regime could decide to nationalize banks and seize foreign assets.
More likely, in his opinion, is the chance of identity theft or other cybercrimes. "Believe it or not, we have some good security in the [U.S.] information services sector," Sargent says. Other countries may not have the same level or security, or their consumer protection laws may not protect people who lose their money because of fraudulent transactions on their account.
Don't plan to use an offshore account to evade taxes. For some, offshore accounts have been used as a tax shelter. Money placed in a foreign bank account could be invested, and the IRS would never know about income earned from those assets.
Instead of paying U.S. tax rates, affluent households could set up a second residence in a country like Monaco, where there is no personal income tax, and keep their money in accounts there. "It's not you or me," Sargent says of those who use foreign tax shelters. "It's people who live a different life [than the average family]."
The problem is this strategy is illegal. By law, U.S. citizens need to pay taxes on all income, regardless of where it is earned. That means any interest or gains earned on foreign investments must be included on federal tax returns. However, in the past, countries such as Switzerland and Bermuda didn't require information about U.S. account holders to be released, which meant people could easily conceal their earnings and avoid paying taxes.
That's changed in recent years, as the U.S. has been actively working to eliminate the use of these tax shelters. Most notably, agreements have been made between countries to facilitate the release of banking information from traditional tax havens like Switzerland.
It's no longer a question of if someone will be caught for foreign tax evasion but when, Ziering says. "[It] was simple before the IRS enforcement," she says, "[but] a using offshore account to hide money doesn’t make sense anymore."
Understand the IRS requirements for offshore accounts. As part of its attempt to crack down on tax evaders, the IRS now requires people to declare whether they own any foreign assets or have signature authority on a foreign bank account. Failure to make this declaration could result in a penalty equal to half the balance held in the account.
Any interest or capital gains earned on money in another country must be declared at tax time as well. Under the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act, some foreign banks will report this information to the IRS to help ensure U.S. residents meet their tax obligations. Finally, those who have more than $10,000 in assets across all foreign accounts must submit an annual Report of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts form.
Having money in a foreign bank account isn't illegal, and it can be convenient for those who maintain a second home outside the U.S. or travel frequently. However, before you open an offshore account, make sure the benefits outweigh any risk from lax consumer protection laws and any inconvenience posed by IRS regulations.

Devin Fitzpatrick Art Consultants Review: Enhance your company’s culture with artworks
If you’re a business owner and wanted to add a certain factor to the satisfaction of both your employees and customers, then putting up artworks in your office building could be one of the best choices. It should not be about the size of your business to have a good company culture because it should be for every business to have it.
If your office looks lackluster, then it’s time to initiate change in your surroundings. You should attract positive energy in your chosen artworks. Beautiful photographs, pops of color, or motivational art could do wonders in giving a good mood to your employees, customers, or visitors. Some findings also reveal that including art in your workplace promotes good and positive feelings along with increasing creativity.
Devin Fitzpatrick Art Consultants prepared some pointers to review in improving your company’s culture with artworks. The first thing you need to determine is the feeling you wanted to express with your picked artworks. Once your employee or visitor enters a particular space in your office building, what kind of feeling you wanted them to have? Identify it and begin from there. To properly match your needs or interests to the artworks, it would be good to get the service of an art consultant.
Secondly, choose artworks that could speak for your brand. For instance, if your business is on the classic and traditional path, then it’s nice to have artworks with the same theme, but if your business promotes cutting-edge and modern brands, choose artworks with the similar feel. Aim to have artworks that could quickly convey what is your business is all about whenever a person walks into your office building. Getting the service of a professional art consulting service like the Devin Fitzpatrick Art Consultants could provide more depth and expert knowledge on selecting artworks in giving the central message of your business brand to the clients and hopeful employees.
Lastly, you should give value to the opinions of the people around you especially your employees. You should add their preferences to the suggestions of your art consultant to have a more beneficial and positive result. It is your employees who are going to see the artworks each day so their opinions are of importance as well.
One way to know their tastes is performing a survey among your employees. Though this might not actually please everyone at least you’re going to know the opinion of the majority. For example, if the result says that many are in favor of nature scenes or photographs, then prioritize it along with the advice of your art consultant if you have one. Applying their suggestions to your final decision about your artworks could also inspire them to be more enthusiastic in doing their respective jobs.
Contact Devin Fitzpatrick Art Consultants for more information about choosing the right type of artwork in putting up in the walls of your office building.

Galveston Capital Tourism and Marketing - 6 Things to Do on a Rainy Day in Galveston
You’ve just landed in Galveston for some much-needed R&R and glance out the hotel patio window at the Gulf of Mexico. Instead of the sunny skies and balmy weather that the meteorologist promised, it’s looking more like rain, high winds and choppy seas are on tap the next few days.
So what’s a free-spirited Island tourist to do? Not to worry. There’s plenty of fun-filled activities in Galveston that don’t require our trademark sunny skies. Consider these 7 things to do on a rainy day in Galveston.
Pier 21 Theater
Pier 21 Theater is located at 21st Street and Harborside Dr., above Willie G's. There are three shows for your enjoyment:
· The Great Storm tells the story of the 1900 hurricane that hit Galveston Island on Sept. 8. It has been digitally restored from its 35mm slide presentation to an advanced wide-screen, high-definition format. The documentary shares the personal stories of survivors and the recovery of Galveston following the deadliest natural disaster in United States history.
· The Pirate Island of Jean Lafitte is a sure shot. Pirate or patriot? Smuggler or businessman? Merciless murderer and thief, or hero in time of war? These are the contradictions of the legendary Jean Laffite, whose harsh actions have secured his place in infamy – but his motives remain a mystery to this day. Whatever the reasons, the mere mention of Laffite in the early decades of the 1800s sent merchant ships throughout the Gulf of Mexico racing for safe harbor. During the last three years of his marauding campaign, Laffite made Galveston Island his base of operations. As for the treasure he is said to have buried there, none has been found … yet.
· Galveston-Gateway on the Gulf is a documentary that tells the story of the immigrants who shaped the island's business, social, and cultural scenes. Between 1835 and 1935, more than 200,000 immigrants from all over the world entered the United States through Galveston. Their stories are as rich and diverse as their origins, and they gave the island a most unique cultural heritage which continues today.

The new laser projection system captures mind-boggling vibrant colors with new 3D glasses technology, and boasts a top-of-the-line 11.1 surround sound with Auro 3D.
