“Eh, it was an honest try?” She huffed out and laughed, looking at Andie with a mischievous gleam in her eye. The wall behind her bead was supposed to be an even blue color– apparently no one had given that memo to the redhead nor her brushes. “I don’t get why dad didn’t let me redo all of our bedrooms back home.” Ariel brushed her paint-stained hair out of her face, cleaning her hands on the old shirt she’d decided to wear on the last minute. “I’ll accept constructive criticism in the form of compliments.”
“You know, when I said I’d help you paint your room as a way to distract myself from my shitty last relationship, I thought you’d be better at the whole painting thing.” She held the paintbrush at her side, studying the wall of uneven color layers. After a moment, she cracked a small smile and looked at Ariel. “Well, at least you’ve got the distraction part of it down.”

@andietriton
Richie was exhausted. As much as he loved the random meet and greets his manager managed to pull out of her ass, he still was amazed at how many people would drive over to a random mall in a town that had fuck all to offer in terms of actual tourist entertainment. As the crowd began to die down, Rich thought it was about time for a break– and a perfect opportunity to scurry away from that one girl he was sure had once broken into his hotel room back in LA. He walked down a mildly empty hall, stopping in his tracks as a retro video game machine grabbed his attention. “Multiplayer…” Richie turned to his side and spotted what he thought would be a good idea; he smiled to the blonde and said. “Hey, if you’ve got nothing better to do…”
Andrina didn’t have a lot to do on her day off from the hospital, but she hated being restless and a night of clubbing was far off, so she joined Richie and followed him as his attention was drawn by an old video game machine. “A video game?” Andrina raised an eyebrow, but merely sighed before stepping forward. “Sure, why not? It’s not like I have anything else to do.”

Costa Cove (Beach Day)
Tessa found herself enjoying her day away at the beach. She loved the feeling she got when she was there, being on the border of where the ocean meets the land felt like she had found another world on this earth. Above all, she loved the salty sea scent the beach brought, each gust of wind that gently blew and swirled the smell around her reminded her of simpler times, and she selfishly made sure to take in a deep breath of it. She closed her eyes as she felt another gentle gust coming, ready to twirl away with it when it did, and that’s precisely what she did. She spun around for a moment, but then ended up getting lost in the free feeling she was currently experiencing and twirled her way right into a fellow beach lover, or someone who was dragged by a friend, “Whoops! I’m so sorry about that!” She quickly apologized, turning to face the person she bumped into.”I guess I got a little carried away.” She softly giggled, offering a small apologetic smile.
Andrina had been studying and doing homework at the beach a lot more frequently these days. She’d been so busy with work and school that she didn’t have much time outside of studying, so this was the best she could do. The migraines became a part of the beach days, which kind of made it difficult to study, but how else was she supposed to get fresh air besides these afternoons in the sand? Her head was tilted back, her eyes closed against the sun, when someone bumped into her, her books nearly dropping to the sand. “Ugh--” Andrina groaned softly, getting a good hand on her books before looking at the girl. “If I was you, I’d be more careful about others around you. Not everyone is going to accept an apology just because you smile.”

“Andie, you’re incredibly beautiful without a doubt, but I need to be able to pay my rent next month.” Tam looked out the window and whistled. “I’d really love to, but seeing as I’m a Mustang driver and that’s a Camaro… there’s all kinds of bad blood.” They chuckled and nodded. “Drive her around back, I’ll meet you there.”
“You and me both,” she said with a slight grimace, but mostly just a regular smirk. Andrina slid her hand along the counter as she walked back to the door. “It’s all bad blood, but it’s a hell of a lot of fun, ain’t it.” Winking, she stepped outside to drive her car around back. Once it was parked where it needed to be, she got out of the car, her hand patting the hood. “For the record, if you told me you couldn’t work on my car, I would deck you.”

“In my defense…” The redhead bit down on one of her fingernails, trying her best to keep the giggles at bay as the turkey finished smoking out of the oven. “I’m at least trying to perfect this thing weeks before Thanksgiving. I swear Brad and Andy make everything look way easier than it really is!”
Andrina moved to open the windows, shooting a glare over her shoulder at her sister. “I’m proud of you for trying new things, but...when I said you could use my apartment for the kitchen, I didn’t think you’d be cooking a whole Thanksgiving dinner here.”

“Either you’re an angel sent from Heaven or I fell asleep while working and I’m dreaming. Either way, you’re gorgeous. What’s someone like you doing at a shop like this?”
“Well, let’s hope you’re asleep and I can get my car fixed for free.” Andrina smirked, leaning forward against the counter. After a moment, she tilted her head toward the window, where you could see her old Chevy Camaro sitting outside. “Feel like checking her out too?”

“I don’t meet tutoring. I am very familiar with the lessons. My problem is the teacher’s an insufferable, idiotic ass and I can’t stand him or his half-assed assignments planned to specifically try to vilify any point of view that isn’t his own.” Shock ranted, dragging in a quick breath. “Sorry. I’m just tired of dealing with idiots, especially if it’s in a subject on actually supposed to like.”
“Then I don’t know how to help you,” she said with a shrug. Andrina took another sip of her coffee before raising an eyebrow. “Ah, so you’re teaching yourself, then. At that point, it’s either time to talk to the Dean of the school, or you just decide not to give a shit and do the work, but talk back to him in class.”

“I’m probably gonna fail the class and at this point I don’t know if I can bring myself to care…”
“Well I can tutor you if you’d like?” She raised an eyebrow, turning her attention away from the coffee in her hand to look at the other, not really caring if she wasn’t watching where she was walking. “Just because you don’t care doesn’t mean you have to let your grades suffer.”

“Listen, love, it’s not that I don’t want to help you. It’s just that… It’s my day off and I’m trying to get some long overdue rest her.” Flynn explained with a little smirk and a warm look. “So… Just tell me, if I do force myself out of my relaxation period and help you out, what exactly is in it for me?”
“Why does something always have to be ‘in it’ for you to do it?” She shot him a small glare. “Ugh, fine, I can get you more foot traffic at the bar by word of mouth than before if you help me move out. I’ll reach more people outside your target group and you know it. It’s simple advertising outside of your normal crowd.”

“Well, maybe. But I couldn’t study for four straight hours even if I wanted to, so there’s probably more to it than that.” Adella stood up, smiling softly. “Goodie, we can go to one of the new little restaurants near the beach. What do you crave?”
“Maybe, maybe not.” She shrugged, then packed up her things. “Maybe I’ll unofficially admit that you’re probably better at me than something, but studying certainly isn’t it.” Andrina chuckled and stood up, following her sister. “How about Mediterranean?”

“Andieeee, I’m bored. Come on, you’re like… The smarter Triton. The smartest girl in the island and all… Do you really need to study for four straight hours? I mean it’s already been three and a half.” Adella grumbled, blowing on her nails. She’d finished painting them and writing her essay a while back and now she was getting anxious as she sat around, browsing Instagram as her sister somehow managed to keep studying. “At least lets take a dinner break.”
@andietriton
“The reason I am the smarter Triton is because I study for four straight hours,” she said, her voice deadpan. After a moment, she lifted her eyes to look at her twin, quickly noticing how bored she seemed. Sighing, she put her textbook down and said, “Fine, let’s go get something to eat.”

She rolled her eyes and sighed. “Come here, let me look at it. Make sure you didn’t give yourself a concussion.”

{ vivienne }:
Viv chuckled as she let Andie pull her along. She wasn’t particularly cofortable in this place or with the whole dancing situation, but it wasn’t terrible either. Especially as her eyes studied the blonde in front of her. A lazy grin directed at the bartender, while they waited for their drinks, turned once more into a smirk as she felt the other’s hands moving on her hips. She moved accordingly, following her lead and placed her own arms around Andrina’s shoulders. Mmm how nice, if this is how it’s going to be I could definitely get used to it.”
A short giggle bubbled up as Viv started moving her hips, but she didn’t move her hands away, she only moved closer. If she had been sober, Andrina would’ve kicked herself for being so flirty and giggly, but that was a problem for her tomorrow when she was hungover. She moved closer to Viv as they danced, momentarily forgetting about the bar behind her. As she heard the bartender trying to get her attention, she turned around and grabbed the drinks, holding one out to her friend. “Oh, baby, the night can be so much better than just a dance with me.”

Aurora took a step back, a bit intimidated by her grin. “I believe so,” she said, eyes widening, then flickering to a stain in the carpet near Andie’s feet. “Why don’t you give me an idea, and then I can decide for sure.”
She moved to the side, leaning against the nurse’s station as she looked over the other girl. “How about we go for drinks. Nothing too wild, just dinner and drinks and we can go from there, yeah?”

“Enjoy away, I can emjoy a different view while you do so.” Viv replied with a wink, taking the time to let her eyes wander over the blonde’s figure and face while she smirked. She wasn’t really sure of where this was going, but the night seemed promising for the first time in a while. “Sure, and we can get you another one too.” She agreed letting her pull her along as they maneuvered through the packed place. “The dancing… I’ll try.”
Andrina took the other girl’s hand as they made their way through the crowd. She danced as she went, swinging their hands as they reached the bar so she could flag down a bartender. “Oh!” Turning around and smiling at Viv, she put her hands on the other’s hips. “Dancing is so easy, you just sway your hips like this--” Andrina pushed her hands against her hips until they started moving-- “and just let loose!”

“Andrina!” Aurora stood up suddenly as the other girl passed the nurse’s station on her way out. “Remember when I said I would pay you back for that coffee?” She looked down, btitng at her bottom lip. “I do apologize, but I feel like I don’t know you well enough to give you something without you asking for it. I guess, I don’t know what you would like.” She met Andie’s eyes, her brows pushed together. “What can I do to make it up to you?”
@andietriton
She’d just clocked out for afternoon, mostly because her boss said she couldn’t work overtime, when she heard her name. As she turned, she spotted Aurora standing by the nurse’s station. “Hey, Aurora,” Andrina said as she veered toward her. After taking a moment to process her question, a wicked smirk tugged on the corner of her mouth. “Are you sure you want to open that can of worms?”

{ @restlesssal }
Andrina hated feeling lonely. She was never known as a particularly outgoing person when she was younger, but now that her ex was gone, the feeling had crept in like an unwanted thought. Without much thought, she had shown up at Sally’s door, knocking on it without texting the other girl that she was coming over. “Hey, Sal?” Her voice sounded shaky, so she took a moment to compose her self before raising her voice again. “I’m craving those veggie tacos I had down by the pier...Wanna go with me? I’ll even pay if you want.”
