#Memories

[/'Ugh, this is boring,' the words flowed through my mind while walking through the crowd of fellow peers of MFHS. Some older, some younger. Most of them all gathered around a bonfire, chit chatting or drinking a substance that would lead to a hangover tomorrow morning. By observing all that I can see, they don't seem bored at all. Just enjoying themselves. For me, this isn't my scene. I don't mind partying, but with people that are close friends and family. Especially not with those that are rude, arrogant, and mostly a bully. I can't believe #Elena dragged me here. I'd be home, in a pair of comfy clothes, with the latest comics scattered across my bed. Begging for me to dive into their stories. That's my idea of fun, and oh, blasting music from my laptop; dancing to the beat. Being here, around those I recognize and those I don't, isn't my comfort zone. Sure, my twin and her closest friends are thriving at this party. I can see #Caroline chatting up a couple of juniors (who will be seniors in fall). #Bonnie was hanging nearby, with a few people I don't recognize due to their backs are facing me. As for #Elena, I don't see her. Miss Popular is nowhere to be found. 'Where is Len?' I wondered. 'Did she leave already, and without telling me?' 'Did #Matt pull her to the side to talk to her?'

After talking to #Bonnie and #Caroline if they saw which way #Elena went, it was only a few minutes till I found her. But not alone. My eyes fell upon the one she was talking to. Instantly, a name popped up from the back of my mind. #Damon. The next thing I knew, my head begun to spin. Images flash through my mind rapidly. Ones I recognize from my dreams, yet now they're longer. The missing pieces were finally filled in. Memories. Memories from past lives. As thankful I was, to finally have those missing pieces to the puzzle of my dreams, it had left me with a massive, pounding headache.

That night, I had to excuse myself from it. Finding #Bonnie first to let her know that I had to leave, and to tell #Elena that I went home. Leaving the bonfire, aside from the throbbing, names flowed across my mind. #Damon Salvatore. #Stefan Salvatore. #Katherine Pierce. #Niklaus Mikaelson. #Elijah Mikaelson. #Rebekah Mikaelson. As well as my former name, Ophelia Mikols, and that of the faces of my former parents, #Deia and #Lucian Miklos.

It became quite clear that I had lived twice before. Loved the same man. Was killed by his brother. A distant promise reminded me why I am here today. Reborn again for a task that will make sure I won't be taken from the one I had love ever again. Once school ends and summer begins, I'll have to leave Mystic Falls to search for the ones I had left behind./

That's how it all started. Someone from my second life, appearing in this small town, unlocking deep memories that had been locked away within my soul. Though he wouldn't the only one from the past to show up. Bringing a sense of danger and trouble to this peaceful town, to those I love and care about. I'd eventually be reunited with the one I loved in my former lives. To this day, I am always reminded of that night. Appearing in my dreams. Reliving it all. From the bonfire to spending the summer on a titan's island, to re-meeting #Stefan, to having the one I loved and the one that killed me standing before me.

It's been a few years since that high school bonfire. Life has lead me to @ANobleProtector's side and to NOLA. Rather than focus on the negativity of the past, and how I feel about his brother, I'm spending my time wisely. From staying out of Mikaelson drama as much as possible, unless I'm truly needed. Taking a few online classes at Tulane. Checking in with my sister and our friends back in Mystic Falls. Lastly, making sure @ANobleProtector and I have alone time, without any interruptions.

Since coming to, well moving to, New Orleans, Louisiana, it's starting to feel like I'm back in Mystic Falls. The slow build of trouble, left and right. Yet, there are more supernaturals here than there were back home. More wolves. More witches. More vampires. It just spells out constant fighting, and huge egos getting in the way.

Will there ever be some peace?

Or is there going to be constant bloodshed and death?]
