Man, I don't know if it's because the setting and how Carbuncle is there to act rationally to the insane situation they're in compared to MC's usual indifferent or comical reactions, but the WRs just seem way worse about the trophy thing in this event.

Carbuncle is supposed to be the Prize for the event, not MC. MC has nothing to do with that arrangement, yet everyone is already acting as if MC was included in that deal. It's not even them vaguely referring to either of them with a title associated with an Exile. They're addressing MC by name. All of the discussion about what they'll do when they win is directed at and about MC. MC even thought there must be some kind of misunderstanding because the crowd was talking about them as if they're the Prize, not Carbuncle. The Rule Makers literally already have a whole custody arrangement laid out for how they'll split their time with them during the week without asking for their input.

Then there's that whole thing with FOUR of them ganging up on MC to prevent them from making any progress. Do y'all feel me on how excessive that was? It was stated that they were just picking on the easiest target, so MC was already at a disadvantage due to the hierarchy. All four of them didn't need to hop in and spawncamp them. I know MC usually pulls some bullshit last minute and they did here, but they were deadass just bullying MC for funsies.

I know they're always like this, but I really want to know what the fuck their problem is during this particular event because they're being really blatant about their lack of respect for MC and their autonomy lol💀😭

This is all so dumb too because I'm 100% sure if they just asked, MC would hang out with them. This is all so unnecessary unless they're specifically in this to beat MC's ass.

I hope Carbuncle crashes out and beats their asses, bro.

The underrated part about the Aegir/MC pairing is that whenever they are together, MC instantly shifts into the adult in the room and Aegir is the menacing toddler who needs to be wrangled on a leash.

MC had to beg this man not to kidnap any of the students there and he was like "Nah, that's okay because I'm gonna kidnap YOU, big dawg."

Then when Aegir dragged them to the Cathedral because he wanted that treasure everyone kept talking about and Carbuncle confronted them, his ass was NOT subtle 💀.

Carbuncle: What do you guys want?

MC, whispering to Aegir: We can't act suspiciously.

Aegir, whispering back: Okay, I got this.

Aegir to Carbuncle: WE'RE TREASURE HUNTERS AND WE ARE HERE TO FUCKING ROB YOU.
