Milotic is one of my favourite Pokemon eeveeeer and I've painted it before, but wanted another chance at it to see if I improved anytime and I think I did 😎🎉 I struggled with getting it to look like it belonged in the scene the first time and I think I approached it way better this time because of all the painting I've been doing this month, so I'm really pleased with it 💖

I had the worst headache today and nearly fell asleep twice from the pain, I got to the point where I said it would be a bad idea to do a pleinair today. Then I started filling in the base colours and suddenly I felt better 💀💀 It's the power of Scream Tail's charm that got me through this 🤣

I 1000% did this one solely for myself because I absolutely LOVE Mareep. (Just look at it munching away on its grass, not a thought between those eyes 😭💖) It is my favourite Pokemon and I need more art of it to exist in the world so I was delighted I got to use this as an excuse to do it 😈

I was going to give up on this piece because I just felt like it was coming apart at the seams and I couldn't do anything to fix it. I was gonna miss PleinAirpril today and start again tomorrow, but I put a lot of work into this and felt guiltly about leaving it. I made a few changes and feel a lot happier with it and proud of myself for being a bit resilient 🥲 We're halfway there anyone, all we can do is go up from here 😂

Really happy I got the chance to do this moody piece for Delphox, it was my starter Pokemon for X/Y on my first playthrough and I loved how it's final evolution was very witch like 😂🧙

I saw the layout for this scene on MapCrunch and since I'd seen fanart of Gengar as Totoro before, I thought now would be an excellent opportunity to get the reference in there lol 😂 Quite proud of this, because at first it was not coming out well, but it managed to pull itself tother at the end 😭 (Always trust the process)

It's been a while since I painted a proper field like this and it felt so nice 😭😭 Genuinely enjoyed my time and felt like I had a lot of fun. Also, I have to admit, Togekiss is a pretty cool looking Pokemon and painting this piece has really opened my eyes to how lovely it's design is 💖

The way I was dreading painting Hydreigon because of all it's heads but it ended up being far easier to paint then Sylveon 💀 Listen, I painted a dragon type Pokemon and had fun doing it, I'm taking this as a win 😭😎

I'm not even gonna lie, this thing kicked my ass today. I forgot how many pieces were involved in Sylveon's design (the ribbons are my enemy I tell ya. They're so pretty, but they are the enemy) and somehow, forgot how grass worked 💀 Tomorrow I feel might not be much better, so pray for me 🫠

Rowlet is by far my favourite grass type Pokemon, it's such round, adorable little Pokemon and since it gains energy through photosynthesis, I thought this scene of it sleeping in the sunlight would work well. I love painting extreme lighting scenes like this, they're so fun to do!
