In April 2024 the British state pension increased by 8.5%. That's over £14 a week or nearly £750 a year. I know that the price of everything has increased too but I'm not sure why people are so irate about the #WinterFuelPayment of only £200 or £300 https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/benefit-and-pension-rates-2023-to-2024/benefit-and-pension-rates-2023-to-2024#state-pension
