Paper Ball, 2018

I made this video after performing in theater is a blank page, a collaboration between Ann Hamilton and The SITI Company.  During the performance, I sat at a table winding word and image into one form. The image being wound is a work by Ann Hamilton, printed on one side an image of a painting by James McNeill Whistler, A Symphony in Violet and Blue, and on the other, a page from Virginia Woolf’s To The Lighthouse. 

Music by Superdevoiche, led by Tzvetanka Varimezova, and The Sacred Harp Beginner’s Club.
