Glory: A Magical Phenomenon Captured During a Tandem Skydive
Glory, a stunning and fascinating optical phenomenon, is one of those rare natural occurrences that can create an unforgettable experience for the observer. Imagine soaring high above the ground, feeling the exhilaration of freefall, when suddenly, in the mist or clouds before you, your own silhouette appears, encircled by rings of colorful light. This extraordinary sight is one of those rare gifts from nature that can transform an adrenaline-fueled activity like a tandem skydive into a truly magical moment.
Recently, we were lucky enough to capture this phenomenon on one of our jumps when our passenger, Simona, not only experienced an incredible skydive but also had the rare fortune of witnessing this optical marvel. The glory, which we recorded on video during the flight, is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful moments we've documented last year.

Wing Loading Calculator
When I was deciding to buy a new parachute harness, I realized how important it is to know exactly what my wing loading would be. Properly chosen wing loading directly affects the flight characteristics of the parachute, its stability, maneuverability, and safety. That’s why I created a simple calculator that will help not only me but also other skydivers accurately calculate this crucial parameter.
The calculator allows you to quickly and easily calculate the wing loading based on the total weight and the parachute wing area in square feet. The result provides a wing loading value in lbs/ft², which you can compare with the recommended ranges.
If you are into skydiving and want to be sure that you are choosing the optimal equipment, try my calculator and make your decision-making easier!
You can also download and use it on your own website, completely free, as long as you follow a few simple rules. I’d be happy if it helps you as much as it helped me.
