1. I graduated from Southampton Solent University (UK) with a Bachelor of Arts in Business. In total, I spent 6 years living in England.

2. I have 3 years of experience working in different digital marketing roles.

3. Some of my recent marketing experiences - 

I acquired a user base of 5,000 users for a music related app. This was done without a marketing budget in the space of 6 months. This feat was achieved through the use of social media marketing. 

I identified and recruited influencers that would fit the brand and would promote it. The two biggest takeaways from this experience were that it’s far better to cooperate with influencers who have a strong relationship with their fans instead of influencers who just have a lot of followers. Moreover, the influencer has to genuinely believe in/like the product he/she is promoting for the cooperation to be successful. 

I promoted a video without a marketing budget, in total the video got 47,000 views. It was featured on The Telegraph,  Metro US, Instinct Magazine, 9News and DivertissonsNous. Furthermore, I posted the video to relevant reddit subreddit’s from a username that has previously contributed to the community. The promotional efforts were stopped once we were approached by Storyful with an offer to licence the video to them, to which we agreed.

I landed my employer 79 backlinks within the space of 6 months, his site’s domain authority went from 24 to 40. Moreover, I formed strategic partnerships with the leading scuba diving websites and authorities. I was trained in Brian Dean’s outreach methods prior to starting the post. 

4. I am passionate about marketing. In the past 6 months, I consumed all of Gary Vaynerchuk’s videos, read an unhealthy amount of digital marketing case studies and studied the best marketing campaigns of the past via Webby Awards.

5. I have experience managing up to 5 people, I enjoy helping people to grow and unlock their full potential.  Furthermore, I have experience recruiting people.

6. I organised and hosted events which were attended by up to 50 people. 

7. I learn new skills quickly and I am fond of experimenting. 

8. I follow trends and the leading figures in marketing.

9. I like reading books.

10. I am fluent in English, Latvian and Russian.
