i started reading this quite long book on saturday and i finished it yesterday before going to bed and it honestly felt like im 16 again on a summer vacation just devouring books one after the other. haven’t done that in such a long time it just feels so good to sit for hours doing nothing but reading, not rushing through it, just savoring each page & each line as the hours go by, closing the book every now and then to go do something else but always coming back to it excited for the next page. so peaceful and such a luxurious feeling to have

I wish epilepsy was taken more seriously because I literally see constant untagged and extreme strobe, especially on tiktok but even on YouTube. I have a filter but it does not work on tiktok, it only blocks regular videos. I’m still suffering from the seizure I had around 5 hours ago and my head feels likes it’s going to explode. Please, please, tag properly. I don’t wanna hear a single ‘but trigger warnings are bad!!!’, epilepsy is serious and seizures can kill.
#no fr ppl do not understand seizures or care to#and it’s frustrating to always walk on eggshells with media#anytime i’m introduced to new media i always worry about flashing lights. and concerts are always a tossup#even just going to stores sometimes. even being in an office where they won’t fix a flickering light#i always feel like a buzzkill when i want to stay safe. it sucks
