tell me you can't see Lucien saying this to Elain after they confront the mating bond but are annoyed at the situation and feel something towards each other but don’t know what it is hate , irritation, lust just a lot of feelings but they blame it on the bond but it’s deeper than the bond

Eris Vanserra redemption arc

Headcanon: Eris is bloodsworn to Beron and has been since he was young, It’s an autumn court tradition that the future heir is bloodsworn to the high lord

This explains why he couldn’t help Mor or lucien because Beron ordered him not to and he can’t fight the bond

I like this theory because it doesn’t disregard Mor’s trauma and still gives Eris a possible redemption arc and doesn’t turn him into another Rhys who’s wearing a mask (because that doesn’t excuse leaving her in the woods) and the only time he ever refused Beron and fought the blood oath was to not have a part to play in the death of Lucien’s lover
