Andrew Lesnak Addressed Mental Health Issues of Hurricane Sandy Victims
Being one of the victims of Hurricane Sandy in October 2012, Andrew Lesnak created a Community Outreach Program to help other victims like himself, to overcome the daily life obstacles to rebuild their lives from “scratch”. It was aimed at assisting the victims of catastrophic events, which included providing the victims with affordable housing as well as the necessary training to enhance their earning capabilities.
The aftermath of the hurricane was so impactful on Andrew, that he fell into a massive state of depression and hopelessness. Being extremely concerned about his personal situation, he decided to seek an intensive form of mental health therapy, so that he could move towards his road to recovery. After coming to terms with his life, he started offering positive experiences in counseling, so that the victims could find some inspiration to cope with the challenges. He personally interacted with them and found it highly therapeutic for himself. He made use of the successful approaches of his life experiences, both professionally and personally, and has found a way to cope with rebuilding his life. He used volunteerism in the field of mental health counseling and is quite aware of the pains and struggles of victims. He addressed various mental health issues that included severe depression, distress, anxiety, hopelessness, along with many other psychiatric disorders.
Through his endeavors, Andrew Lesnak has become an advocate to those truly “lost souls”, which now include speaking with the victims who have been diagnosed with suicidal tendencies and addictions.

Andrew Lesnak Has Become an Advocate to The Truly Lost Souls
Being one of the survivors of hurricane Sandy, Andrew Lesnak created Community Outreach Program. Here, he provided the victims with various facilities including affordable housing as well as training to enhance their earning capabilities. Andrew could never forget the challenges that he had to face during the hurricane. Through this program, he just ensured that the victims would not have to go through all that. He personally involves himself in helping them effectively communicate, plan, organize and make the proper decisions that can lead to a path of creating wealth and homeownership.
Volunteering as a counselor, Andrew addressed the mental and physical health issues of the people affected by Sandy. The issues included general distress, anxiety, and other psychiatric disorders. He has a soft corner for those suffering from depression, anxiety, and other traumatic disorders as they had idea from where to start. They were always unsure about whether you could ever come out of it or not.
Prior to hurricane Sandy, Andrew Lesnak led a highly successful and an active lifestyle and he lived in a beautiful waterfront home. However, after the hurricane, he fell into a depressive state and even after so many years, he continues a variety of mental health counseling services in order to come to terms with his personal losses.
Expanding his role in the field of volunteerism, Andrew has become an advocate to those truly lost souls that includes speaking with the victims who have been diagnosed with suicidal tendencies and addictions. Andrew Lesnak considers volunteerism to be the best form of mental health therapy
Being one of the survivors of Hurricane Sandy in 2012, Andrew Lesnak devotes most of his time in helping those struggling hurricane victims, with their personal addictions and depression. Andrew found it personally therapeutic to help heal the wounds of the other victims. He had offered a hands-on counseling approach, to personalize the method towards recovery. Additionally, he helped in locating the financial awards to help rebuild both their home and personal lives. Since he had lost his home, personal belongings and business, he was able to relate to the clients on a very intimate level. With that, he decided to join forces with a successful organization named Hope Sheds Light. And this is where he took his act of volunteerism to the next level. By serving as an advocate for those that sufferer, he continues to make amazing strides forward, on both a personal and professional level.
