i fucking love all these cultural references and details in naruto so much, i cannot believe madara’s name is literally based on a “dancing god” who is known as a performer and associated with dreams .. has white wild-looking hair which madara also ends up having after his jinchuuriki transformation and is conflated with other gods who are sometimes depicted with a sickle on a fox. madara consistently referring to fighting as dancing, being concerned with aesthetics in battle (and fashion) to the point where he’s condescending towards others that he doesnt find aesthetically pleasing like. all these references are so specific and fit him so well there’s so much thought behind all of it and its so cool i think

Hi my name is Dabi Cremation Blueflame and I have purple burn scars (that's how i got my name), dyed black hair with white and red roots (both are my natural color) and icy blue eyes like limpid tears and a lot of people tell me I look like deceased Todoroki Touya (AN: if u don’t know who he is get da hell out of here!). I keep asking them to stop telling people I am dead. I’m related to Todoroki Enji but I wish I wasn't because he’s a major fucking asshole. I'm also a villain and i go to the League of Villains where I'm in the second year (I'm twenty four). I’m a goth (in case you couldn’t tell) and I wear mostly black. I love Hot Topic and I buy all my clothes from there. For example today I was wearing a black coat, black leather pants and black combat boots. I was wearing black lipstick, white foundation, black eyeliner and red eye shadow. I was walking outside the city. It was snowing and raining so there was no sun, which I was very happy about. The number two pro-hero Hawks stared at me. I put up my middle finger at him.
