 Air Canada Airline to Toronto
Toronto Weekend Getaway (A Miles and Points Destination Guide for Toronto)
Toronto is a great travel rewards location. Due to its huge international airport and variety of hotels from all chains, many of which demand excessive rates during peak travel seasons, Toronto is a great Miles & Points destination. Due to its great neighbourhoods, cosmopolitan culture, and many activities, Toronto is a great weekend getaway. You might visit there through  Air Canada Airline to Toronto and enjoy your weekends.
Toronto is Great for Weekends:
I'm from a Toronto suburb, therefore I'm biassed (shout out to the Markham food scene making the New York Times). Toronto is a terrific weekend trip. Toronto's distinct neighbourhoods and major cultural events make it appealing. Caribana, the largest cultural festival in North America, the Toronto Film Festival, and events at the Budweiser Stage, a cool outdoor concert venue, keep Toronto busy in the summer. That and watching a hockey, basketball, or baseball game at one of the city's downtown facilities is the perfect long weekend. You might meet Justin Bieber, Drake, or Sean Mendes!
How to reach Toronto?
Toronto is convenient for large points and miles travellers as an Air Canada and Westjet hub. Air Canada's new Aeroplan currency is good for domestic and some international flights in North America, despite its disadvantages.
Step-by-Step Aeroplane Flying
One-way economy tickets to Toronto from major East Coast destinations cost 12.5k points. West Coast trips cost up to 17.5k points. Air Canada's hallmark Business class on the 777 or 787 Dreamliner costs $30,000–$60,000 round trip, depending on your route.
WestJet, with a poor reward programme, flies from numerous North American destinations to Toronto for 12,500 Delta miles one way (or less in some cases). This method cannot reserve business class tickets.
Finally, most Asian and European airlines fly to the city, making it easy to use points from Etihad with Aeroplan or British Airways with Avios to fly on Aer Lingus.
Toronto weekend accommodations?
Boutique hotels are rising in Toronto alongside Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt.
Marriott is ubiquitous. Toronto's most upscale hotels are the Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis (Category 7). Despite the outbreak, end-of-summer prices are high.
The Category 6 W Toronto in Yorkville opens this summer. Wait for a review. The typical Toronto summer rate is $400.
As a significant financial centre, there are many business hotels, including the Westin, Sheraton, Courtyard, two Marriotts, and the Delta. Most Category 5 hotels provide low-point weekend rates because they appeal to business travellers (35K Bonvoy points or less). For a Marriott hotel at a fair price, the Sheraton Centre Toronto is downtown and near Queen West. I enjoyed my time there. Modern accommodations, a fantastic lounge, and Marriott Platinum Elite hospitality make the Delta Toronto a good middle ground.
The Rogers Centre, home of the Toronto Blue Jays and important concerts, houses the Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel. On game days, field-view rooms start at $500, but are worth it. If you're in town for the game, split up and share a stadium-view room.
Hilton has few Toronto hotels. The Hilton Toronto is a huge downtown business hotel, however the Hilton Portfolio as a whole isn't very active. A local boutique turned Hilton Curio hotel would be amazing.
A contemporary boutique Hyatt hotel is in the city. The Anndore House was rebranded as Joie de Vivre Hyatt this week, and the Category 3 Hyatt Regency Toronto started selling regular rooms for 12K Hyatt points a night. As a Category 3 hotel, this stylish boutique hotel offers a remarkable price for 12K Hyatt points per night.
The Park Hyatt Toronto will reopen this fall after years of renovations. This Hyatt, previously a Category 4 hotel, will be renovated to a Category 6 hotel at $25,000 per night, fitting for a premium hotel in such a costly market. This may appeal to Toronto visitors seeking luxury. The Park Hyatt is farther from Scotiabank Arena and Rogers Centre, making travel time longer.
Over the past five years, Toronto has welcomed several high-end hotel chains. From Yorkville, Four Seasons guests in Toronto may walk to the Park Hyatt Toronto. Momofuku Toronto is also located at the base of the Shangri-La Toronto hotel in downtown Toronto.
The city has many non-aligned hotels (I book mine on hotels.com because their loyalty program gives me 10% of my total bookings)! The Drake Hotel is part of a successful hotel chain in Queen West, Toronto (which is where I live). It has a trendy bar and diner and plenty of places to see and be seen in the summer.
