some angst headcanons

-they all know to cover jet’s blind side in firefights. they’d never tell him they’re doing it because it’d upset him, make him feel like a burden.

-ghoul has problems with authority. he’s been hurt too many times by people who were supposed to protect him. that’s why he always looms to the side when dr. d is around, no matter how warm and fatherly he is.

-kobra got a pretty bad concussion once from the crash track. it was rough, he took a pretty long time to recover. but sometimes, when he’s upset and holding back tears, you can hear him slur his words.

-poison cries a lot. always in private, because he’s the firecracker of the team, and he can’t be drained and upset around the others. he mostly cries for the girl, and the fact that she will be alone one day. it terrifies him more than the implication of his own death does.

-jet doesn’t talk about when he was a kid. kobra knows a little bit because one night when they were pretty damn drunk, jet mentioned something about finding his parents’ bodies. jet swears he doesn’t remember saying it, but it’s burned into kobra’s mind forever.

-ghoul’s always had a particular fear of blood. it paralyzes him. poison got shot in a firefight once and ghoul beat himself up over the fact that he stood there in shock for a little while without trying to help poison
