I agree with melbur from earlier. I love 06 and thought I knew plenty about it, yet this blog is teaching me things even /I/ didn't know! Do you have any miscellaneous info about Iblis since we've got lots of stuff about Mephiles and his demon form a while back?

Like Mephiles' monstrous form and Solaris, Iblis (in each phase) forms a rock-like armor around itself. This armor is not attached to the Iblis model and is rather generated in-game using a Havok particle system, allowing for it to be chipped away at.

During "End of the World" black hole like obstacles gradually form as the time-space rift worsens and Solaris gains power. If one looks closely into these black holes they will notice the "Eyes of Solaris" (as they're referred to in the game's guide), and these eyes come in 2 forms: a purple type that appears in rather smart and difficult to maneuver locations and attempts to suck the player in, and an orange type that appears in more haphazard locations and will violently hurl items in the player's general direction. These forms are clearly representative of Mephiles and Iblis in both design and behavior. Their existence demonstrates that, at least while Solaris is still regaining form, Mephiles and Iblis still exist as separate entities.

Solaris' theme in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) contains lyrics meant to be reminiscent of Latin choir, however (and presumably due to the difficulty of translating a Japanese composition to Latin) the song is instead primarily sung in old-form Italian with Latin backing vocals.

The lyrics are (roughly) as follows (with help from r/translation):
