The legend of the beginning of the Transformers universe

Of Gods and Primes

The ancient history of Cybertron, the World of Change

At the dawn of existence were two beings, a god of light and one of dark, in an endless war to decide the fate of the greater multiverse. One day, the god of light decided that, in order for him to win, he might have to give up his place in the cosmic balance and thus, redefined himself. He was no longer just a prime of life. Primus rewrote his destiny and became a god of creation. His first act was to cast away his enemy through the creation of a universe.

Knowing his enemy would return, the god of creation created 13 individuals to carry his power and replace him and his enemy in the cosmic balance.

Firstborn was Prima, the Prime of Light. He was born to take his fathers formal mantle in the cosmic balance.

Second was Liege Maximo, Prime of Darkness. His duty was to serve as his brothers opposite, the shadow to define Primas light.

Then came Solus, Prime of Creation. Her boundless creativity and the endless potential of her forge made for a great pair.

Megatronus, forthborn of the 13, served as Solus’s opposite. Where she embodied creation, he embodied destruction.

Then came Quintus, a breath of life into this newborn world. Her duty was to create the first life within this newborn universe, and, with Solus and Prima’s aid, replace his father in the cosmic balance.

Logos was born as Quintus’s opposite. Where he was destined to bring life, Logos brought only death.

Next born were the twins of change, Alchemist and Adaptus. While Alchemist represented the transformation of elements, Adaptus represented the change that all life undergoes

To defend the new home, the prime of Instinct was born. Some may call Onyx brash and arrogant, but his advice was never one to be ignored

Next of kin were another pair, Vector and Epestimus. Vectors job was to ensure the stability of the newly made universe and prevent catastrophe through traveling to the future. Epestimus(or as you may know him, Alpha Trion), held the task of storing all knowledge of the universe and using it to guide those within the new universe away from catastrophes foreseen by his twin.

Micronus held the honor of representing the aid we can find in each other, regardless of physical stature

And finally, Nexus represented the unity that would best serve the people of this newly born universe

As their time drew near, Solus would use her forge to craft tools to aid them in the banishment of Primus’s true nemesis. 13 artifacts designed to in some way twist or break the universe in the Primes favor

After Unicron’s banishment, the 13 would travel the cosmos to spread life into the burgeoning universe, ending with the creation of the first Cybertronians. Primus would create powerful beings to protect these new pockets of life, the Titans. As the 13 explored the universe, Unicron began to wave his temptations in Megatronus mind

With this, Megatronus would learn under the one he was made to replace, and would twist his siblings, Logos and Liege, to join the Dark God’s side. A cosmic war broke out, to which no one was known to have survived except for Megatronus, banished to the dead universe alongside his master. However, with his final breath, Quintus plummeted into the core of our home, and the ensuing explosion gifted the newborn universe with life

Unfortunately, this battle would have consequences far beyond the original war, as with his final act, Megatronus damned the newly forged Cybertron by attacking one of his stars. Using the last of his strength, Primus ensured the survival of his newly created people by reformatting the newly forged Cybertron into a form that could survive the death of a star. He would also create the Sentinels to guide the Cybertronians to safety.

The young civilization spent untold millennium deep within Cybertron, until the last of the sentinels, Omega Supreme, guided them to the surface with the aid of a mysterious sage who referred to himself only as Alpha Trion. The Cybertronian populous would divide themselves into city states surrounding the dormant Titans.

Overtime the city states would devolve into chaos and war only ending when the young Nova Major unified the city states with the aid of Alpha Trion and his strategist, Jhiaxus. On the eve of the final battle, Alpha Trion would name Nova Prime, making him the first Prime since the 13. With the backing of a Unified Cybertron, Nova would transform the new Cybertron, entering it into a golden age of development, both scientifically and culturally.

However, one day he decided that his golden age should not be restricted to Cybertron alone, and with the aid of the best scientists in Cybertronian society, he would create a starship designed to create new colonies, the Proudstar. On its maiden voyage however, he would go missing. Nothing is known of where he went and when Jhiaxus attempted to follow, he only succeeded in creating a devastating plague that destroyed the golden age in a grand collapse.

In the aftermath, Nominus Prime would aid Alpha Trion in turning Cybertron into a true Republic, with each of the city states having a representative on a planetary council. This republic, simply referred to as The Senate, would rebuild Cybertron after the events of the collapse and rule the world justly and righteously.
