What does freedom mean to me...

What does freedom mean to you? Freedom to me is being able to say what you want and do what you want when you want. Obviously there are legal and ethical limits, but as long as you don’t harm anyone then do whatever you want.

Which public figure do I disagree with the most?

What public figure do you disagree with the most? Far, far too many to list!! From politicians, sports stars, film and TV stars, music stars, to the new breed of influencer, I disagree with a lot of them on a wide range of topics. I could spend the rest of the day going on and on about it, but I won’t because life is too short for that.

My current career plan

What is your career plan? I don’t have a career plan at the moment. I was going to be a researcher but due to ill health I’ve had to stop studying so now I’m unsure as to what I’m going to do. I’m waiting for a second opinion on my health as this will have a big bearing on what I can and cannot do in the future. Until that is resolved I don’t have a career plan.

The last live performance I saw was...

What was the last live performance you saw? These Hills Are Ours by Daniel Bye and Boff Whalley. This is a performance in story and song about escaping to wild places through running. It’s a celebration of wild places, running and our freedom to roam them.

What do you do to be involved in the community? I’m not involved in the community at all. I shop at my local supermarket and go to the local club on a weekend but that’s it. Some people are involved in the community but they are a few groups all competing with each other and they all have their agenda so I avoid them as it’s not worth the effort of getting involved in personal battles with…

List the people you admire and look to for advice… There’s no particular person or persons I look to for advice. I have a lot of friends who have experience in a lot of different areas and I will go to them for advice when I need to. I admire a lot of different people too for differing reasons, too many to list here but they are out there.

Do you vote in political elections? Yes I do. Here in England we had local elections and Mayoral elections only yesterday. I voted in both as I believe it’s important to do your bit and try and change things for the better. When do you feel most productive? First thing in a morning and last thing at night. Inbetween I’m a zombie and I’m lucky if I can open my eyes.

What are your favorite emojis? Are the simple ones showing a smile or a laugh, the ones that can’t be misinterpreted and everyone else has the same meaning for them. I struggle with a lot of emojis as for one person they mean this and for another they mean that, so I avoid using them and stick to the simple ones or say it with words.
